Best Way to See Ecuador! - The Quito Bus Tour company is incredible. I cannot recommend this 4-day tour enough! It was an unforgettable experience from start to finish, made even better by our incredible guide, Diana. She is hands down the best tour guide I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Diana went above and beyond, adjusting the itinerary based on the needs and preferences of our group, which made the experience feel personalized and truly special. Our private group of 9 found the tour to be both intimate and affordable. We were able to visit stunning locations like Cotopaxi, Quilotoa, Baños, and the Amazon. Diana even added in extra activities along the way, making each day a new adventure. Plus, she takes amazing photos and videos! She made sure every moment of our trip was captured and was happy to share the footage with our group. It was such a nice touch that allowed us to relive the experience afterward. This tour really gives you the opportunity to travel around Ecuador, and to have experiences you would never be able to find on your own. Truly, they have put so much effort into making this tour incredible. You will not regret using their company for ANY tour, but this has definitely been my favorite! If you’re considering a tour, this one is a must, and I highly recommend requesting Diana as your guide!

Book it! You won't regret it. - This trip was incredible! It was a fantastic way to see, learn, and interact with so much of the country in just four days. The company handles all the logistics, allowing you to simply enjoy the experience without worrying about timing, directions, or details. Quito Tour Bus also offers unique activities that I wouldn’t have known to do or book on my own like meeting with local families, artist, wildlife refuge and trying new foods. Our tour guide, Diana, was a ray of sunshine! Her knowledge and enthusiasm made the trip truly enjoyable. We absolutely loved spending those four days with her and she is an incredible photographer! You will walk away with the best memories and photos :)

do it - On the fence? BOOK IT! Seriously—One of the best decisions we made. Truly, so many great things to say about this tour and especially our guide, Ernesto. This was a fantastic way to see the wonderful things Ecuador had to offer in a short amount of time. About the trip: I customized the trip to make it private, added horseback riding in Cotopaxi, and added a Canyoning excursion in Banos. This privatization allowed for us to plan our timing and stops whenever we needed, adding horseback riding was incredible, and canyoning in banos was so much fun—and we didn’t have to sacrifice much from the itinerary posted on this page to make it happen either. For my best friend and I (early 30s) it was the perfect mix of culture, relaxation, and adventure. Beware though, it is a lot of car time (but very much worth it!) Food stops were great and well planned. Hotels had great hospitality and were clean (hot water availability varied but that was expected.) About our guide: Ernesto is a gem—full of life, positivity, cultural insights, and patience. I really appreciated how he gave recommendations throughout but wasn’t pushy. He was also a great photographer!! He was patient even when we were running late to our next stop or having to make a lot of bathroom stops lol—and he was always thinking ahead and sending our orders to restaurants ahead of time so I really appreciated the efficiency. He goes out of his way to make it a great trip. Seriously, such an incredible time led by an incredible human being! So happy we did this. Tips: Bring car snacks (with all the driving, we didn’t have lunch until 2pm most days), lots of water, some cash, motion sickness meds for car or altitude if that bothers you, clothing layers as it’s very cold hiking Cotopaxi but then very warm by the time you get to the Amazon part of the trip. Company suggestion: My best friend and I were lucky to have a variety of clothing with us, but I would suggest the company provide a recommended packing list so folks are well prepared 😊

The best tour - an amazing trip - I am so happy we booked this tour. Ernesto was a fantastic guide, he really knows his country, the area and how to showcase the best of it for us tourists ! We booked this tour before going to the Galapagos to make the most of our time in Equador and I'm going to say it.... although visiting the Galapagos was a lifelong dream of mine, I actually think this tour was better. It really was the highlight of our trip and that was mostly thanks to Ernesto. José and the driver who took us around on the first day were equally great. José's passion for Equador really came across and because of that, he just seems to know everything about the area ! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone.

Fantastic highlights tour of Ecuador - This tour is action packed and provides a great highlight of what Ecuador has to offer. The accomodation for night 1 and night 3 was amongst nature, unique and very peaceful. Our guide, Ernesto, was highly knowledgeable and made our trip especially enjoyable. He went above and beyond and we particularly enjoyed our spontaneous pit stops for local fruits, ice cream and juices. Ernesto made us feel like we have a friend in Ecuador :) Highly recommend!

Great fun! Experience Ecuador quickly and fun. - We spent 2.5 weeks checking out things in Peru and Ecuador. We were traveling with 5 people (2 adults, 2 teen, 1 younger kid). This tour was our favorite thing out of the whole trip! The cost was great (compared to others) and the skill of the guides were above the standards we expected and found elsewhere. The facilities were appropriate for the area. One was our favorite place in the whole trip. Others looked like the best option in the area which is what it is. Our driver and tour guide (Irene and Andres) were fantastic! The other tour experiences in other locations showed us what a gold mine this was of talent and planning. We would always go back to "The Ecuador" trip was the best! Such a well rounded experience of diversity of experiences from the tops of mountains to rivers of amazon. The roads are what they are in Ecuador. The driver (Andres) was safe and I always felt he knew what he was doing. (I drive heavy equipment for baseline). I also did a lot of reading on the trip (3 large books) of the history and the guide nailed it on the accuracy and depth of the history (at the right level). The kids loved it and as adults we enjoyed the company and fun made it totally worth the trip there. The history of the country, the local traditions, and great company to be with. Traveling with kids is difficult but the guides really helped us with recommendations and expectations that included what would set us all up for a successful experience. They understood us and when we asked they helped us pick what we would have the most fun with. An example of the above treatment we got was the the guide grabbing fruit from all the places we went and then having a fruit bonanza where we get to taste and rate all of them. It was so educational and good to have another sense to tie it all together. We loved it and would highly recommend this experience to others with or without kids.

Great trip to see a lot in Ecuador - We had a great trip and saw so much of Ecuador that we could had never seen being on our own in such a short time. We originally booked the 3 day trip but then our guide Ernesto told us about this tour and organized the extra day for us. We are so thankful that Ernesto made that work so spontaneously! He was a great guide who knew so much about the country, always looked out for us and took great pictures. We had a lot of fun with him! All the stops and activities were amazing. The hikes were not easy but there are always multiple options! The hotels were nice and clean. All the restaurants we stopped at were great and pretty cheap. Ernesto also stopped with us at a fruit shop and we could pick all the fruits we wanted to try. The extra activities like zip lining and the extreme swing were not so expensive and a lot of fun. I especially liked the jungle walk and the chocolate making with a local family. If you don’t have much time and want to see a lot of the area around Quito- this is your trip!

Amazing 4 day tour in Ecuador! - We had a wonderful time on this four day tour around Ecuador. The itinerary going into the trip sounded amazing, but it surpassed our expectations! Our tour guides and drivers were incredible (shoutout Ernesto and Josue), and really went out of their way to tailor the experience to what we were looking for. We loved staying at local spots that gave back to the community and its people. It was a wonderful experience learning about the history of Ecuador. Ernesto was amazing and did a great job educating us about his culture and country while also taking us to some of his favorite local spots, which happened to be our favorite experiences and meals of the trip! We can’t recommend this tour enough and would love to come back to Ecuador and work with this group for future travels!!

An awesome whirlwind tour of the real Ecuador. - 5/5. What a trip! From pickup to the return to our hotel Quito Tour Bus were excellent. Our Guide, Irene, was fabulous. She was friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about everything that we experienced. Her english made everything so much easier for us. The itinerary was full to the brim of exciting and inspiring places and activities while the choices for each nights accommodation were all delightful and very comfortable. The hotel staff were all super helpful. Finally our driver, Andreas, was excellent both in terms of driving ability and helpfulness. Toward the end of the trip we received all the photos both he and Irene had been taking of us which was lovely. All in all faultless 😁
