Cusco - Sacred Valley - Aguas Calientes

Sacred Valley of the Incas - The tour starts at 8:00 am with a pick up from your hotel in Cusco to make our trip to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The first place to visit on our tour will be the archaeological complex of Pisac and its handicraft market, we will then continue with our tour until we reach the town of Urubamba where you will be offered a buffer lunch.

Ollantaytambo - Continuing with our walk we will arrive at the town of Ollantaytambo where we will visit the archaeological complex and its handicraft market, after finishing our journey we will go to the train station of Ollantaytambo half an hour before the departure of our train and board the transport at 04:36 pm to the town of Aguas Calientes, upon arrival our representative will be waiting for you with a sign and will escort you to the hotel.

Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

Machu Picchu - After having breakfast at your hotel, you may board a bus that would drive you to the Machu Picchu citadel (30 Minutes). Upon reaching the Mach Picchu citadel, you will pass through the control where you will have to display the entrance ticket to Machu Picchu and your passport, you will then have a guided tour for approximately 2 hours, at the end of your tour you can visit Machu Picchu for 2 hours more on your own.

Aguas Calientes - At a prudent hour you will have to descend in the same way by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes where you will be able to have lunch (not included).

In the afternoon you will board your train at 19:00 pm from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo. Upon your arrival our transfer will be waiting for you at the exit of the train station to bring you back to the city of Cusco, arrival time 10:30 pm.

3 days with Andes Peru Tour & Adventure - We could not have asked for a better tour guide! What started as a trip for 2, became a trip for 6 and Jose was patient and informative every step of the way. We kept in communication since October and he helped me build the perfect itinerary. Being this my second trip to Cusco and Machu Picchu, it was very important to me to be in contact with the person providing my tour rather than a tour company that would connect me to a tour guide later on. There are so many visitors trying to see the same sights and after doing a non private tour last time and being moved from sight to sight with so many people, I knew a private tour would be what I wanted. We are so glad we chose Jose! We did a 3 day tour- Cusco City tour, Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu/Huayna Picchu. Having a private tour meant we could be flexible with the timing and it made a world of difference. We were able to see sights before they got too crowded, as well as request more time at some that we wanted to spend more time in. Jose (and our driver Roberto) even drove us to the pharmacy and to exchange money because we hadn't had time to do it on our own. We opted to climb Huayna Picchu and while it was difficult and scary at times, we were happy to have Jose. It was amazing reaching the top. We saw tour guides that waited for the group at the bottom of the mountain but I’m so grateful he came up with us. My husband had a panic attack halfway up (he’s afraid of heights and I may have forced him to do it) and Jose stayed with him until he calmed down and helped him find a spot where he would be comfortable waiting for our group. As we got higher up, I was thankful to have him update us on what was to come and get our mind ready. As we ended our trip and talked about all the amazing sights we saw, we kept coming back to the fact that it would have not been as amazing if it wasn't for Jose. We didn't have to worry, stress, or feel that we missed out on anything because of him. I highly recommend Jose and Andes Peru Tour & Adventure!
