From there, you will embark on a 13 km walk to the town of Aguas Calientes, which takes approximately 3 hours. This path runs alongside the train tracks, so while the walk is safe, it is crucial to stay alert for passing trains and adhere to safety signs.
The following day, the return service to Cusco is available. To return, you must go back to Hidroelectrica. The return bus schedule is as follows:
1st bus: 2:00 pm (14:00 hrs)
2nd bus: 3:00 pm (15:00 hrs)
