Arrival in Madagascar

The moment my feet touched the warm sands of Madagascar, I knew I was in for a treat. The air was filled with the scent of salt and adventure, a familiar aroma that always gets my heart racing. My wife and I had heard whispers of the kitesurfing paradise that awaited us in the north, and we were eager to dive into the experience. Our destination was the Baie de Sakalava, a spot renowned for its perfect kitesurfing conditions and breathtaking scenery.

As we made our way to the beach, the vibrant colors of the kites dancing in the sky were a sight to behold. It was as if the ocean and sky were engaged in a playful dance, and we were about to join in. Learning the Ropes

When we weren’t kitesurfing, we took the opportunity to explore the surrounding area of Diego Suarez. The region is a treasure trove of natural beauty, with its lush landscapes and stunning vistas. We wandered through local markets, tasted exotic fruits, and soaked in the vibrant culture of Madagascar. Each day was a new adventure, filled with discoveries and unforgettable experiences.

Our week in Madagascar flew by, but the memories we made will last a lifetime. The kitesurfing lessons were a highlight, thanks to Michel and his dedicated team. Their passion and expertise made our stay truly magical, and we left with a newfound love for kitesurfing. As we boarded our flight back home, we promised ourselves that we would return to this paradise, eager to ride the waves once more and explore even more of what Madagascar has to offer.
