5 hr. Trip - Second trip w/Hubbard’s this week. Both times did 5 hr. Can’t wait to do overnight trip next. Deck hands kept bait stocked, collected fish. Had great trip. This is my 3 rd trip this year. Boat had 26 ppl. Every time a great trip! Used our ticket stubs to get $10 off on next trip.

Top notch experience- as always! - This was 5th or 6th trip with Hubbard’s, and each time has been as great of an experience as the last. They do their best to ensure a fun experience, from the captain searching relentlessly for fish to the mates who hustle the entire trip to make it a great experience.

Our group of four caught 33 fish!! Paul and crew (sorry I’m having a hard time remembering other names) were so great and helpful! We can’t wait to come back and go again soon! :)

Great day fishing - We fish up north and this was my first time fishing in Florida. The captain was great, let us know what was happening and I caught 6 and my husband caught 5- all keepers. We cooked it up last night & it was delicious. This was a ton of fun and wish we lived closer to do it again. Thank you to the mates Noah and Dennis, and Smitty for making a great egg sandwich!

5 hr trip - Trip was 1/2 hour late in getting started but they made up the time…3 hrs fishing. Second time w/them this year. They only had two deck hands for 50+ppl so if you needed a new hook I had to wait longer than would like. But the trip itself, and ppl at Hubbard ‘s were great. Deck hands were friendly guys, as were the ladies at check in.

Not the experience it use to be - We've been going out with the Hubbard's boat for many years. Collectively, my wife and I have had 30+ trips. Up to this year, things were pretty good and we kept coming back. We went out last month and things were vastly different. Let's start with booking the trip. We were originally taking a group of 9 out, but that got pared back to 5 the night before. I noticed that Groupon had a "deal" for the 1/2 day fishing trip. The price for the trip on Groupon was HIGHER than the price you would pay with Hubbards. I called Hubbards and asked if there was a discrepancy and sought clarification. The representative advised me that they have no say in what Groupon charges. This..... is ridiculous. I would NEVER allow Groupon to charge more for customers patronizing my business. Groupon is a website that gives a DISCOUNT for some items/services not an UPCHARGE site...... Now let's get to the day of the trip. The woman coordinating the boarding of the boat was a bit over the top. Our group has been on this boat dozens of times. While the briefing was going on, we were calmly talking about the trip when she scolded us for not listening to the briefing. We are a family group, we are very respectful, but she was quite condescending and rude. The fishing trip was NOT what it used to be. The boat did NOT go to the good fishing grounds, and instead stayed closer inshore and a bit south. It was mildly choppy out, and the captain anchored up instead of drifting. After not catching many fish for a long period of time, we literally only moved a few feet and reset. It seemed like they were saving on gas money or the captain wasn't keen on where to catch fish like previous captains. The crew was great and did their job to the best of their abilities, but fishing was poor at best. When we got off the boat, my 13 year old got in line to have our fish cleaned. I was talking with the crew and stayed on the boat for a few minutes before debarking. I joined my son in line and the same woman who scolded us earlier ordered us to the back of the line because my son didn't have the fish in his hand when he got in line. I bit my tongue, and my son didn't understand why she did this, but we complied with the woman who appeared to be having a bad day. Again, we have been going here for YEARS. I don't know if we will be back. We are a humble and respectful family of fishermen who love the sport. This was NOT the Hub that we have embraced for years.

Our $400 fish - This is our 2nd charter with this company. The first time we caught zero fish. This one just 1 fish. Came home and caught 18 fish. So we’re done booking here.
