perfect jeep tour in Madeira! - we came with a cruise ship to Funchal, Madeira and met Joel and his big and comfortable jeep, near the port. we had a 6 hours costumed tour in all the must see+ hidden gems. Joel told us so many interesting facts about the geography, the trees and flowers, the food, the culture, the history and more. he is so kind and listen to the clients needs. warmly recomanded!

Incredible day. Would recommend highly - We had an amazing day with Joel.
Joel is very friendly and speaks excellent English. He carefully listened to where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see.
Joel knows the island really well and took us to many places which we were not aware of from Googling. One of the highlights was off-roading through the mountains.
Joel’s Land Rover is clean and comfortable, especially versus the other vehicles we saw at popular stops around the island.
We would not hesitate to recommend Joel to friends and family visiting Madeira.

Amazing journey - Joel is the best nature guide on the island of Madeira. As well as knowing all the trails, his passion for Madeira and the dedication with which he does this job leave no one indifferent. I highly recommend him!!!

Fantastic just book it. - Fantastic day exploring parts of the island we would never have found otherwise. Joel is a lovely man and an exceptional guide whose passion and knowledge of the Island shines through. Beautiful scenery, some hiking, great lunch and some off road ing all made for a great experience tailored to our capabilities. Fabulous. Just book it!

Discover the true Madeira with Joel! - Just to get to know Joel, our tour paid off. A soul of man who knows, loves and always drives safely. The tour went to the east of the island according to our wishes. We visited places that normal tourists certainly do not get to see. We have explored high peaks, secluded valleys , magnificent coves and rare places. Culinary highlights included a country inn specialising in local dishes , a small bakery and rum tasting. After more than eight hours of touring we returned to the hotel full of new impressions, happy. Joel, I'm sure we'll see you again!

Best experience in Madeira Island - The jeep tour in Madeira with Joel (the driver) exceeded all my expectations! He was super friendly and knew the island like the back of his hand. The feeling of exploring the mountains in a 4x4, was incredible! The landscapes are breathtaking! I recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure.

Secrets of Madeira Island - Amazing - What an unforgettable day!
The quality of this kind of experience depends on the guide's knowledge of the region. Joel, born in Madeira, knows every corner of the island and took us to fabulous places. All his knowledge makes this experience much more than a jeep ride through the mountains. I highly recommend it.

Get to know the beauty of the island away from the crowds - We don't usually write reviews, but this tour was so nice! We are a German couple who did the private tour with Joel, who speaks perfect English. He picked us up at 10 (instead of 9 because we like to sleep in) at the hotel. In advance we had told him that we would like to see nature away from the crowds and wow, what great nature spots he showed us! Sometimes we were all alone at waterfalls or viewing platforms that we would never have seen without his knowledge or the 4WD car. Thanks Joel for the insights into your homeland and the beautiful north and east of the island. You can tell you love your job!
