Pickup from resort by on open gypsy with an experienced guide, licensed by forest department. This gypsy can accommodate maximum six persons at a time. It would be an open air gypsy to explore the forest in a better way. The bright light and the wildlife sightings come together to form perfect photo opportunity. The Bandhavgarh National Park, situated in Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh, is one of the notable wildlife sanctuaries in India. It was officially recognized as a national park in 1968, covering 105 km2. Its extension area, which includes the forest sections of Umaria and Katni, amounts to 820 km2. The park’s name, Bandhavgarh (meaning ‘Brother’s Fort’ in Sanskrit), originates from a conspicuous hillock in the region, rumored to have been granted by Lord Rama from the Hindu mythology to his sibling Lakshmana to monitor Lanka (current Sri Lanka).

Tigers are amongst the most recognized inhabitants of Bandhavgarh National Park, and visitors can partake in safaris to experience the remarkable wildlife, inclusive of a variety of plants and animals. This expansive nature reserve is brimming with unique species, all harmoniously co-existing.
