Indulge in a day trip from Madrid to Segovia and Ávila, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Begin the expedition by traversing the 11th-century walls of Ávila’s historic city center, followed by sightseeing the façades of the cathedral and San Vicente Basilica, the Plaza Mayor, and the birthplace of Santa Teresa de Jesús from the inside. Please note, meals are not provided, but you’ll have ample free time. We then embark on the second phase of our journey, with SEGOVIA being our focus. We’ll admire its massive Roman aqueduct, the exterior of Segovia Cathedral, the Plaza Mayor, and Segovia’s Alcázar, a significant fortress that harks back to the Snow White’s Castle. To conclude our tour, we’ll stroll back to Madrid.

Best Day Tour from Madrid to Avila, Segovia! - Best day tour! Fantastic experience visiting Avila, Segovia and general overview of Madrid and surroundings during rides to and from sites! Tour guides were amazing, very knowledgeable and kind (Carlos, Oscar, Sofia and driver Luis). On-time activities throughout the day, very professional team managing time!

Okay for a quick tour of the area - Good way to see the area of short on time to do a longer visit. Group size of 35 was too large for one guide- at times guide was too far away to be heard over the headphones- connection would cut out. Optional monument fee (26 euro) didn’t seem worth it- only has 20 minutes at each monument. We skipped that to wander on our own. Nice to have the option to skip those. Bus ride was fine.
