It was one of the best tours. - Our guide/driver Jesse was excellent: very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained the history behind the windmills' names and gave us information about this place. It was an educative as well as a fun tour. The van was clean and comfortable. We definitely recommend it.

Excellent tour guide and tour - Jesse was very knowledgeable and helpful. He offered to take numerous photo for us and stopped at the best photo ops. Jesse was on time and explained everything carefully and clearly. We loved the windmills and the windmill town where we stopped and had chocolate and pastries. Toledo was beautiful. We had a great spanish style lunch and had time to shop a little and explore. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially if Jesse was the guide.

A Must-Do Tour from Madrid: Windmills and Toledo - The tour of Don Quixote’s windmills in La Mancha and Toledo was a really pleasant experience. The food was delicious, featuring traditional dishes that capture the flavor of the region. The staff was very kind and attentive, making the tour even more special. I shared the trip with people from the United States and Italy, which made the experience more enriching. The windmills and Toledo have a unique charm and a lot of history, and this tour is an excellent way to see both. If you’re in Madrid, it’s definitely worth doing.

SPECTACULAR - Visiting Don Quixote’s windmills in La Mancha is like entering the pages of Cervantes’ famous novel and living a 17th century adventure. When you arrive, you feel the vastness of the Manx plains extending as far as the eye can see, with the mills, huge and ancient, guarding the landscape from the top of the hills, plus the tour is very pleasant, very concrete and familiar information from the guide, makes the experience even better! And much warmer, just SPECTACULAR!!!!

Good but there are drawbacks. - Loved this combination of windmills and Toledo, wonderful sites to see. But be forewarned that the guides only speak Spanish, which is plainly stated in the tour info. English translation is given via Google Translate and that part is only ok. For us English speakers, there was a lack of personal connection with the guide, since he didn’t speak our language. And it really inhibited us from asking questions. Our guide, Jesse, was perfectly nice, though, but the canned commentary from Google left a lot to be desired. Lunch wasn’t really lunch either, just some bread, cheese, and a drink.

Our english speaking tour was through google translate - The tour itself was wonderful. Our guide was very accommodating in light of my mobility issue. However, when I request and pay for an English-speaking tour. I don't expect the english being to be via google translate period. Being in a crowded condition and having to listen to my guide tell me what he wanted to say via his phone was not easy. We couldn't ask any questions unless we typed them into google, translate and had them say it for us. The tour would have been ten times better had our guide, at least understood and spoken english.

Los Molinos de Don Quixote in Consuegra and free tour in Toledo - Jesse was our guide for this tour. The tour started in time and Jesse provided us with information during the journey to Consuegra. When taking to Consuegra you stop at a coffee shop with time for coffee, buying water and using toilets (important). Already in the Mills Jesse gave us the history of the area and we went to see 7 mills and we could enter two of them. In one there is a video explaining how the mill is used, which still operates on special dates. In the second, which is a souvenir and water shop you can climb to the top and see pieces of the mill. The other mills are closed, but Jesse explained the story behind each name. At the end you have a few extra minutes to take gifts and enjoy the scenery. Then we head towards Toledo. In Toledo there were many people and they had closed the way to the helmet, so we had to walk from the parking lot. It wasn't a problem for us. The tour provides option to book lunch, but we chose to go on our own and Jesse gave us an excellent recommendation. Then we walked and visited some shops, Christmas markets and areas of interest such as the Cathedral. At the end of the day the last stop is from one of the viewpoints to take pictures of Toledo in all its glory. In short, we had a nice day.
