- Essential Flamenco - Our aim is to restore the closeness that was at the heart of genuine flamenco. Spectators were once tightly packed around the stage, encircled by just three rows of seating. No tables, no dining, no interruptions. Just unadulterated flamenco. The profound flamenco jondo (with ‘jondo’ meaning deep) fuses, in an unprecedented melting pot, five distinct musical heritages: the indigenous Andalusian tunes, the melodies introduced by the gypsies (who migrated from India to the southern part of Spain around 1400), the harmonies of the Arab world (who were present since the year 700), as well as the musical elements of the Jewish and Castilian cultures. It’s a genre that resonates with the universal human spirit.

Amazing! - I went there with a couple of girlfriends & the show was breathtaking/emotionally engaging. The brief history lesson of flamenco was very educational and the performers were great! Very intimate venue; be prepared to be very close to your neighbors and a little uncomfy. Don’t be that tourist and talk throughout the lesson or performance/use flash!

Incredible! - Incredible performance! The performances were quite authentic and steeped in passion. It was the highlight of our time in Madr.id. If we had time we would have booked a second time

The music and dance were... - The music and dance were awesome. The space was small so you could hear and see everything. The space was rather tight, so just know that.

Very Intimate Setting - It was a very intimate location which added to the experience. Seeing the 2023 Flamenco champion was a bonus! Given there were only two dancers there are instrumentals portions to give the dancers a breather

It's very interesting to... - It's very interesting to learn about Flamenco, but there may be better experiences in Madrid. The experience in the club was not very friendly or warm. Would prefer to research some other Flamenco shows where the experience would be more positive and welcoming.

Nice but not the best - The dancing was spectacular however I wouldn’t recommend this place do to how small it is, very hot and seats close to each other! Also not enough dancing, too much time spent on the history of flamenco and then instrumental time

Small tight venue with 2 dancers - Small venue. When you first enter there is a waiting room with restrooms and where you can get the included drink. We got the sangria and it was very good. When it got close to the time of the show - other doors were opened and everyone rushed to find a seat in the tiny show room. The stage area was very small maybe 10 feet wide and the venue held maybe 40 people. Much of the show was instrumental soloists and a couple of dancers. It was my first flamenco show and I had expected a larger show with mostly dancing. The show was about 45 mins long with a couple of musicians and a couple of dancers. It was ok to see once but i would try a different venue if someone really wants to check out a Flamenco show.
