Great, short tour of Madrid! - We chose the 2 hour express tour which was just enough to whet our appetite. Our guide was Carlos, who did an excellent job of playing the tour guide with historical facts and a few timely stops. I recommend this tour for those short on time or who just want to see the main sights.

2 hour tour - In 2 hours, we were able to see the main parts of Madrid and develop an understanding through Gloria’s expertise of history of Madrid! A great experience. You can stop at several places to walk around if you’d like, and she makes sure to slow down in others where you may just want to grab a picture from the cart.

Very fun experience with Carlos! - Carlos our tour operator was fun and energetic. His English was very clear and easy to understand. He showed us many interesting points in Madrid and taught us many interesting facts. His knowledge about the history of Spain was Impressive and he enthusiastically welcomed our questions. I would highly recommend Tuk Tuk for a first time visit to Madrid. My wife and I enjoyed it very much! We did the 2 tour!

Tuc Tuc tour not to be missed. - We did the express tuk tuk trip on our last day to try get to see some of the items we might have missed ourselves, going around. Our guides name was Paulo and he was very nice and relatable. He had great knowledge of Madrid, and we learned quite a lot from him about the city. Our only mistake was that we should have gone on this trip on our 1st day as it would have set us up for the whole weekend with the best places to visit and eat based on Paulo's local knowledge. 5 stars out of 5

"Express" Tour explains it, I must have missed that. - Ever since I discovered tuk-tuk tours a couple of years ago in Italy, I thought, "this is genius!" They drive you around for 1-2 hours, stopping at each point of interest to give you a brief overview and show you the best spots for photos. It's perfect for getting a lay of the land without exhausting yourself on the first day when you're jetlagged. Plus, it helps you decide which places you want to revisit later with more time or on a booked tour. Knowing how great these tours can be, we booked a tuk-tuk tour for the first day of each leg of our trip in Madrid, Seville, and Marbella. However, we quickly realized this wasn't the kind of tuk-tuk tour we were expecting. This tour felt more like an hour-long taxi ride around the city, with the driver sharing some historical tidbits during the drive. There were NO stops, NP opportunities to take pictures unless you wanted to snap them from a moving vehicle or take a moving selfie, and very little time for questions. They run like a well-oiled machine: a 55-minute drive around the city, and on the 56th minute, you're back in front of the Four Seasons with half a dozen other tuk-tuks waiting to pick up the next group for their speed tour. If you're looking for a quick overview of the city without stops, this tour IS perfect for you. But if you want to stop and take pictures with the sights, this is NOT the tour for you.

Book somewhere else - Was looking forward to this highly rated tour - and unfortunately between the weather and the ‘holiday’ I can’t recommend that you use this company. There are many companies that offer the tour, chose one that will still have the side shields on them in the event of poor weather. Our tour was at 1 - and it was freezing. When asked about the shields was advised the owner took them off saying it was fine. Because of a ‘holiday’ we were not shown many of the iconic buildings including the Palace. Quite disappointing for the money.

Wasn't worth it - I'm so sorry to write this review. Personally, I'd give it 1 star, but I'm giving it 2 because my teen thought it was better than I did. We did the Express Tour and what I expected was this overview of Madrid highlighting attractions and neighborhoods. But there was no "the city center of Madrid is X which is where we are starting and these neighborhoods surround the city center. This neighborhood we are in now is full of shops and restaurants and is hip and vibrant and is just to the north of where we started the tour". Instead, it was more like we just drove through an area and he'd say there's lots of diverse places to eat without really highlighting where we were in the grand scheme of things. He did point out the oldest restaurant and a house that someone lived in (can't remember who). We pulled up to the Palace and at first, I had no idea it was the palace. Our guide preferred to highlight a little specific story or tell a joke that sometimes bordered just on the crass side for amusement. It may be amusing, but I sort of prefer general facts before getting to the tawdry joke. He mentioned someone dying on the toilet "like Elvis" and then saw someone else he knew along the way and flicked him off. I mean, I have adult kids so okay, but I kinda like to get to know a person before we get into giving people the middle finger. I just think he came across more like a bartender than tour guide. To be fair, my adult daughter was fine with it but my opinion was that I don't think I learned anything by taking the tour so it was a waste of time. Unfortunately, it was our least favorite tour of our time in Spain and we don't recommend it.

Lousy tour - never take it ! - John, my guide, was not knowledgeable enough about Madrid and he seems to not take his job very seriously..he only kept cracking jokes , most of which were not funny at all...I paid 90 Euros for a private tour and then I expect the highest quality of guiding ...unfortunately I got worst than what I have got previously in free tours in other cities....I do not reccommend anyone do this tour - its extremely over priced and of very poor quality.
