Informative walking tour! - Lots of interesting facts shared about the City, old and newer parts, different neighborhoods, famous writers (Cervantes), and the culture and pulse of the city. Our guide, Julio, was a lot of fun, providing great details along a very manageable walk. Well-worth taking this tour.

Easy and fun private walking tour of Madrid - Knowledgeable friendly tour guide, full of anecdotes about the city. He takes you through all of the main attraction points and more: Places like the oldest restaurant in the world, the oldest espadrilles shoe maker in the world etc…. Book with confidence.

Truly wonderful family tour - Julio César gave us a really wonderful tour. He is a ray of sunshine and is extremely generous and informative. He was awesome with our 8 and 9 year old kids. We’d take a tour with him again in a heartbeat. Highest recommendation possible, especially for families with children!

Our guide Julian was... - Our guide Julian was awesome. We were traveling with a 5y/o and a teenager and he managed to keep them interested and entertained. We learned a lot from him. Our three hour tour went by smoothly. We walked through Madrid from Paseo del Prado to Palacio Real. Learned some interesting history details and walked through areas filled with culture and lots of little facts and that we would not have otherwise learned. We would highly recommend this tour, specially with our guide Julian. Thanks you very much for all your attention!!

Alternative and hip tour of Chueca and Malasaña in Madrid! - Elena was an amazing guide! She is very outgoing, friendly and with a unique vibe. She showed us the hidden gems walking along small but not crowded streets of the hip neighborhoods of chueca and malasaña. She showed us some vintage shops which were the amazing! Later she took us to enjoy some "patatas bravas" which were delicious! We had an awesome time with her and recommend her as an excellent guide to learn from but also to share a good laugh with. 🙌👌

Will go over and beyond to make this trip special for you. - My partner and I have been using walking tour guide's sevice for over 10 years but never have we had such an amazing tour guide. Very well prepared, systematical, professional on the one hand and kind, positive, and funny on the other. Full of good advice where to go and what to do. Will contact you via whatsapp beforehand and tailor the tour matching your preferences and interests. Will equip you with tourist map with interesting places drown, restaurants, local gems….After we had said good bye to her we followed her instructions about where to go/see/do/eat and felt that she really maximised our Madrid experience. Elena is a beautiful human being and we wish her a lot of private and professional success.

Tour Guide, Elena in Madrid 2018 - We were not in Madrid for very long, so having this tour is the way we saw most of the city. What we hoped to get was a brief history of the city and recommendations of places to visit in our limited time... and that's EXACTLY what we got! Elena arrived at our meeting place and kicked off our tour with a "Welcome Packet" and walked us through everything she put in it. She had maps, official tourism brochures, and business cards of places she recommended. It was such a great start and we still had the full tour ahead. The tour went without a hitch --- she mapped out our route and we did exactly that. We kept in touch with Elena as we traveled to other parts of Spain. She's someone who we would certainly connect with if we ever find ourselves in Madrid again. I hope she feels the same towards us, if she ever finds herself in our city!

Fantastic alternative tour of Madrid - We spent a fantastic couple of hours with Drica wandering around Chueca and Malasaña. She had lots of fasinating insights into the neighbourhoods and how their histories have evolved. Really enjoyed it and would heavily recommend it to anyone visiting Madrid and wants to see more than the typical red bus tour. Drica was lovely - very friendly, passionate and knowledgeable and was a briliant guide.

Caution about the “kid friendly” title - Eva was a great adult guide, but when we started the tour it was clear to me she had no idea this was supposed to be as kid friendly tour w games and scavenger hunts as advertised on the Viator site. We had to address this after about 30 minutes of completely lackluster guiding . She tried to pivot to a children’s museum that you had to buy tickets for well in advance. She tried to get the kids engaged but having no experience w kids it was a fail. I blame this on Viator and not Eva as she seemed to have no idea it was supposed to be interactive kid tour. Eva really tried. She is a fantastic guide for adults. If anyone signs up for the Viator kid friendly tour I advise you to get I. Touch w your guide ahead of time to ensure a truly kid friendly experience.
