Interesting gallery - A really interesting gallery, reminded me of the Burrell Collection in Glasgow. There's a lift inside which was helpful as we can't manage the stairs.

Beautiful - Spectacular this museum. Knowing the history of this house and then going to museum is beautiful. I recommend seeing next to the museum always have a commercial display. In my case it was Pedro del Hierro's fashion exhibition.

A real gem - An essential visit to this palace where you will find authentic treasures. From paintings by Goya such as El Aquelarre, to works by El Hieronymus or El Greco. Also an impressive collection of valuable objects: liturgical chalices and patens, bronzes, enamels, medals, coins, ancient jewelry, etc. a legacy of incalculable value. Totally recommended.

Collection of more than 12,000 pieces, including works by El Greco, Federico Madrazo, Goya, Hieronymus Bosch, Zurbarán, stamps, tiles, fabrics, silver, weapons,... The building is beautiful and its interior incredible. Teachers enter FREE

unique and surprising pieces - One of the best private museums in Europe, it leaves no one indifferent in any of its collections, both in the pieces on display and in the building that houses them.

RECOMMENDABLE - Beautiful building surrounded by beautiful gardens, the interior surprised us as it preserves a large collection of works of art, tableware, coins and even ancient weapons. I recommend the visit.

A unique collection, beautifully arranged - This museum captures the taste, refinement and culture of a 19th/20th century European intellectual. The on-line ticketing and slotted times are convenient and help to avoid crowds.

Very cool private collection - Very covered, everything that can be stowed is here. Many great masterpieces in between. The strangest thing is probably the ceiling in one of the living rooms, where he has had many of the very large works painted in a collection.

Rudely rushed to the exit before closing time. - The museum closes at 3:00 p.m., as the host told me when I arrived. At 2:50 p.m., the guards go around the rooms and push you to the exit unsparingly. At 2:57 pm, several guards have already left the museum! It ruins the end of the tour.

Poor visitor management - Taking advantage of a trip to Madrid, I wanted to take a guided tour with a group of friends. A few days before we called by phone to find out if we had to reserve, since the information on the website was contradictory. They told us that we didn't need to reserve, that being there on time (11 a.m. on a Saturday) was enough. When we showed up at the indicated time, they told us that the visit was complete since all the places had been reserved online. Our disappointment was huge. When we filed a complaint with the department of education we received an insufficient and somewhat arrogant response.
