I would recommend it. - I've been on an a few "food tours" and this one was quite good! One in Madrid was very much a bar crawl kind of food tour that was really fun even because it was kind of equal bar and food. This tour is more food than bar...I think I got that right. Yes, you go to a couple bars/taverns but this seems to more of an explanation of the food or even the venue. Like the first place was an old hardware store and turned into a restaurant with a bar area that I wish we had time to get a dinner reservation the next night. One restaurant, we went to, we had iberian ham where our guide, Diego, explained the differences of the 50%, 75% and 100% Iberian ham. I/we learned quite a bit just from that venue alone. (The next day, we had a prebooked "tour" at a shop that sold Iberian ham. Quite disappointed as I already knew (somewhat) about the Iberian ham. They only had the 100% Iberian ham but didn't explain the differences. Also,,they were a bit cheap with the amount of ham and wine.) This tour, had quite a lot of the different ham...learned a lot. All the time, we went to "local" places....not touristy at all.

Definitely pass this one by! - Did not deliver on what was promised in the description, and the add photos were very deceiving. Not only was the individuals english barely passable, the level of detail on history and process was no more than "they feed them acorns," Although the products were good, the cost for 24 tasting size morsel's of 4 types of meat and the one glass of wine was way overpriced.
