Worth the price - Saw many concerning reviews so had low expectations. The trip ended up being a good experience. Bilingual tour guide did his best to translate to English (guests kept asking for translation), we were a group of 25-30 and the bus rides were smooth and comfortable. Segovia and Ávila are beautiful cities!

Recommended - The visit was great. All very well explained. There is more time to see Segovia than Avila but enough to see what is important. The Samuel Guide deserves a monument for his patience with users.

Solo traveler from USA - I enjoyed the tour except that 90% of the guided tour is in Spanish but it's OK. Samuel is our guide and he's a good guide. No complaints.

Was just okay - The tour of the towns were good but it was mostly in Spanish- the candy tour was a waste of time when we could have explored more

Amazing place, the guide needs to improve - The wonderful places, worth doing the tour, would have been better if the guide had prepared and worried about us. Lack of organization on your part. The chema driver was maa attentive and got more involved !!!

Beautiful places, not a great tour - They are both beautiful places to visit unfortunately the tour didn’t allow for much time to explore. Time was wasted in a ‘factory’ tour that was not mentioned before booking, which left only 30mins to explore Avila on free time. Tour guides English was limited and no English at ‘factory’ . Would highly recommend going to Segovia and Avila, but not on this tour

We did not like the tour, we have traveled throughout Europe with tour and free tour never one as bad as this. - I do not recommend this tour. Maybe it was bad luck with Guide Samuel. It was a paid tour and it was a disaster, I have done countless paid and free tours, I did not remember another of this quality since 1997, I remember the destination and the company. He never showed up on the bus, people on the way down in Segovia people asked him what his name was, he took us from the aqueduct to the bus shelter saying here is this, here is that and very little information .. I don't explain on the bus what the tour would be like just handed out the communication devices that was cut continuously and mixed with a tour in English that was being given by a colleague of his. There were no recommendations like what to visit, where to have lunch. He just cared about the roster. I prefer a free tour, they give it more desire and a very good imprint around the world. When we returned with Michelle, she barely met us, introduced herself and gave us recommendations and also explained what we were seeing on the return trip. Don't tour with Samuel, he should devote himself to something else, something he likes and does well. Segovia met him alone so we were charged 70 euros for the transfer. I'm sure they have better guides, we got a really bad one.

No more than a bus ride - Our guide had zero personality and literally just walked us up the main street, then left us at the Cathedral. Gave little to no
Interesting history or anecdotes . The majority of comments went something like this: “ On your left is a very important building in Segovia. It was built in blah blah .” No fun stories. Just facts and dates. Did not stop like I saw other guides at various landmarks. We did stop at 1 overlook (an outdoor restaurant’s terrace) for a photo op of the city. Again, no interesting info given. The guide did not wear anything distinctive nor hold up a flag as other guides were doing, so if you did stop to look in a window or take a photo, you could easily fall behind and not know where your group was because of the crowds. He did not offer any suggestions for restaurants or “ don’t miss “ sights. He left us by giving out maps. This was a bilingual tour (English and Spanish) and that made it confusing to know when he was moving to the next “ point of interest “ if you will, because nearly everything ended with, “ in Segovia “ regardless of the language. Overall, I feel like I spent $80 for a round trip bus ride for two.

Not the best - The guide was kind and knowledgeable but due to the tour company setting up multiple different activities for every group it was very disorganized. We had to rush through each city and try to catch the information with different languages. The group was huge with 60 people with one guide in the first city. I am surprised everyone made it back to the bus because there was not much direction. It was more like a self guided tour with transportation.

Awful. - Our tour left without us. We were told we would get a refund in 10 minutes, so I immediately booked another tour. The first tour left without 30 of us, and then we were denied a refund. Viator is a disgraceful company. I work for a huge corporation, and I am sharing my experience there. The tour I did go on was terrible. The tour guide was not knowledgeable at all, and it was a lame experience, where we were left to our own exploring.
I hope your company does not survive, because you have no right treating people the way you do. Terrible, terrible memory.
