- Plaza Mayor - Plaza Mayor is a symbol of Madrid and must not be missed. Building work began on this huge open area in the city centre in the 17th Century. We’ll talk about its history and evolution throughout the centuries.
- Arco de Cuchilleros - Passing trough the Cuchilleros arch, we’ll proceed to visit “Sobrino de Botín” a Spanish restaurant in Madrid, founded in 1725. We’ll have the opportunity to go inside and explore it from top to bottom.
- Mercado San Miguel - Located in the heart of Madrid, the Mercado de San Miguel is a monument to Spanish cuisine, meeting point for food lovers. There, we will eat nd drink some of the best products this city has to offer you.
- Plaza de la Villa - Plaza de la Villa is one of Madrid’s best-preserved historical monuments. We’ll talk about it’s buildings and their history as well as a super important figure of the once feared Spanish Armada.
- Plaza de la Cruz Verde - Here we’ll go from A to Z about the Spanish inquisition. The what, where and why, and also why does it stands out from the other ones.
- Puente de Segovia - The Segovia Viaduct is a viaduct in the La Latina neighborhood in Madrid, Spain. Throughout the centuries the area has been a major crossroad. A later version was built in 1934 to replace the previous iron one erected in 1874
- Parque Emir Mohamed I - Here we’ll really come to understand Madrid’s roots. How was it born and its actual purpose back then.
- Catedral de Sta Maria la Real de la Almudena - Madrid’s cathedral, which stands in Hapsburg Madrid, has a short but tortuous history.

Join me for a personal journey filled with fascinating history, wonderful architecture, amusing tales, light-hearted humor, and exceptional food. We will meet at Plaza Mayor, then venture through the ancient city center, pausing at a local market to enjoy appetizers and beverages. Afterward, we will resume our excursion through the oldest and most intriguing parts of the old town, culminating in a spectacular view of the Royal Palace. After indulging in the rich history, we’ll end our tour at a charming gourmet restaurant where you’ll savor various exquisite, chef-prepared tapas, local beverages and a unique traditional spirit deeply rooted in the city’s history. Also, apart from the gustatory delights, we will have time to relax, get to know each other more, and share a few laughs. I aim to make you feel like you’re touring the city with a group of friends, one of whom happens to have a wealth of knowledge about it and is eager to share it with you!
