A truly great way to see the old part of Madrid with a great host. - Andres told us a brief history of the buildings around us and of there significance to the area. We stopped at numerous spots along the way to eat and drink. High quality drinks and food in every stop. A really good tour with a very knowledgeable and laid back host. This was our second time doing it as we done it previously on our honeymoon in 2018 and it was a totally different tour this time.

Fun and informative tour for foodies. - We had a great time with Andres, tasting some great food and beverages. It was nice seeing the La Latina area with an expert and getting "inside" information. He was informative about the food, wine and the history of the country. We highly recommend this tour.

Outstanding. Attention to detail was amazing - Andres ran an outstanding tour. The advertising was very accurate in that we sampled some really good food (lots of it too) and several bottles of selected wine between us. What was quite surprising was the attention to detail that Andres demonstrated to make the event special for us: He supplied the wine, he supplied his own big wine glasses at one venue; he supplied and had the restaurant cook the pork specially for us (it was not on the menu). Along the way, Andres showed us many of the city centre historical sights and buildings that we saw and answered our many questions. He introduced us to viking salt. We really enjoyed this event!

Fantastic way to be introduced to amazing Spanish tapas. - Fantastic tapas and wine walking tour. Andre was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. We tried, battered salted cod, iberico ham and baby squid toasts with different wine pairings. I would highly recommend the tour. We booked through Viator which was very easy to do.

Great guide, and fantastic food and drinks! - Andres was an amazing guide. He showed us many spots, and told stories/histories of the places we ate and even the area we were around. My group was small (6 people, including the guide), and I absolutely loved it. It allowed me to get to know people and laugh with them easily. The food and wine were sooooooooo good. I can already see myself coming back to the restaurants he showed. Gracias, Andres!

We would love to have done this a second time! Authentic food and wine experience. - Andrès knew his stuff. We had a fabulous night walking through the old town - from authentic tapas bar (amazing bacaloa) to wine bar (crisp white wine and seafood tapas) to restaurant (with tender pork to die for) - the food was brilliant and the red and white wines, vermouth and sherry were delicious. His knowledge of the local food and wine scenes was obviously a passion and if time permitted we would have loved another night of this! Recommended to anyone who wants to have a “true locals” experience.

If You Love Food, Then This is the Tour for You - I always do a food tour in each city I visit. Most food tours are tastings of whatever is local to the city. This is the best food tour because the food served are actual servings and paired with wine (or drink of choice). Plus it came with pistachio ice cream for dessert paired wtih a dessert wine. We were so full by the end of the tour. Andreas also provides history and cultural information during that walk. I highly recommend this tour and will do it again if I return to Madrid.
