Get Carlos to be your guide - Carlos was a fantastic guide! Knowledgeable with a great sense of humor, he made touring the palace a better experience.

Great tour! - I had Benny as the guide for our group of about 30 people, and he handled the large group exceptionally well. The palace was very busy, and although we tried to stay together, I occasionally got separated behind other groups of tourists. Benny was prepared for this—he anticipated where we might get split up and clearly communicated which direction he’d be turning etc. to guide you. He also shared fascinating historical insights that kept us all engaged throughout the tour. I highly recommend this tour!

Amazing tour! - Our tour guide was very informative and answered all of our questions. I went with my family. We would not have been able to capture so much information if we would have done the tour on our own. I totally recommend if you are visiting Madrid.

Disappointed - Tour guide did not have command of the English language and was difficult to understand. She also was not sufficiently knowledgeable about the history of the Spanish monarchy or history of the Palace.

Tour was cancelled by the operator and no alternative or refund offered - We arrived at the meeting point 1/2 before and waited for 1 hour to learn from other travelers the tour was cancelled. Yes, we learned entire Spain lost power and the Palace was closed. However, I would have expected somebody showing up or at least informing us. Second: I would have expected they offer us an alternative or refund, but none happened.

Confusion about meeting place - False meeting details on the ticket resulted in us not reaching - called both trip advisor and the travel company. Combi with tapas or royal collection is a mistake and creates confusion

Ruined my last day in Madrid - The worst experience with a company and a tour guide I have ever had! First of all, they gave us absolutely wrong instructions on where to go. We arrived 45 minutes earlier and waited. At 12:15, I realized no one is showing up. Texted them and called them and finally got through. They told me I was at the wrong location. Woman on the text, originally, was trying to be helpful but absolutely not professional! Told us to come back at 3:00. We had to hang around for 3 hours just waiting! Then she said come at 3:15. Which was absolutely ok. Again, at 3:15 there was no one there. The woman on text messages keeps telling me I am at the wrong place again. She made me run around circles. 10 minutes later the Tour Guide finally shows up and she is standing at the exact location where we were originally waiting. I have asked her if she is the tour guide and she gave us and another couple nasty attitude. She checked us in. We walked away and were speaking to another couple about how unpleasant this experience has been and that it ruined our last day in Madrid. THE TOUR GUIDE then runs up to all of us and starts screaming that if we don’t shut up, she will leave us behind!!!!!! I told that we are having a conversation among ourselves and she has no right to speak to us this way!!! She then tells me that we are not getting into the Palace and that she is kicking us out of the tour. I told her we paid for it and we are going. (I have videos of the entire experience that I would and I would Love to share with her boss.) she then split us up with the other group. (Have video of that as well). She saw me recording her, she HIT ME TRYING TO TAKE MY PHONE AWAY!!!! She then told us to get in other line. She walked in through security, then told security guards that she LOST OUR TICKETS, walked through, gave us a MIDDLE FINGER with one hand and was waiving “bye” with another!!!! Security guards kept saying that they are so sorry for her behavior and that she is crazy. They also told me that it was all being recorded and I can request a video of it all. I was there for a family vacation with 2 children!!! I hope the owner of this company will read this review!!! He/she really needs to filter who you hire as reputation of a business means everything! I have videos and pictures of it all and would absolutely love to speak to an owner if possible. I will gladly remove my review once I speak to someone. I don’t want to hurt someone business with a bad review, I just want you to know what kind of horrible people work for you!!
