We offer you an unforgettable experience, a private and exclusive Segway tour, with a guide just for you. The tour takes place from the mythical Barrio de las Letras and from there we leave for the Retiro Park. We enter the Parterre, the main garden of this park, we will observe the Hauahuete, the oldest tree in the park, we head towards the Fallen Angel, statue of Lucifer, on our tour we will discover the majestic Crystal Palace that will show us the way to the Lake which contains the Monument to Alfonso XII. A fun and enjoyable tour that can be extended with time options. You will not regret.
- It will not be suspended for fine rain, in case of heavy rain it will be rescheduled
- Occasionally, due to weather conditions, the park remains closed for safety reasons. In this case, an alternative tour will be offered.
- A 10-minute grace period is allowed at the start of the tour. After 30 minutes, the tour will be canceled.
- If you have limited mobility, you should not take part
- Children must be accompanied by an adult and be at least 10 years old
- Users will be able to use the segway for themselves
- The user’s weight must be between 30 (77 lbs) and 125 kg (275 lbs) to ride a Segway
- Dress code is smart casual
- Comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes are recommended.
- The use of mobile phones is not allowed while riding a segway.

Highly recommend! - Superb Segway private tour in Retiro Park. Rafa was a brilliant guide. First time on a Segway, a little nervous but Rafa had me up and running in a few minutes.
Great way to see the park as it's huge, as little or as much historical information as you wish. Places where my teenager could get up to max speed so all boxes ticked.
So glad we did this, highly recommend, one of our highlights or Madrid.

Fun, Easy, and a Great Way to See the Park - It was our first Segway experience, and we absolutely loved it. Jaime patiently explained how to use the devices and gave us enough time to practice before we headed to the park. It was fun and a great way to enjoy the park! Much easier than we expected!

They helped us! - Give yourselves time to get to the meeting location which we couldnt find and we were late for tour. They did honor the amount of time we had left and we were grateful bc it became one of the highlights of our trip!!! Tour guide even took pics for us and emailed at the end.

Beware if you have kids - Be very careful booking this tour with kids.
The listing states a “recommended” weight range, but in our experience it was enforced as a strict requirement. Our 10-year-old did not meet the recommended weight and was denied participation upon arrival.
We were not offered any alternative, and despite being unable to participate at all, we were not refunded. On-site, we were told to contact Viator regarding the refund, while Viator later indicated the operator controlled that decision. The lack of clarity and accountability was extremely frustrating.
If there is truly a minimum weight requirement, it should be clearly stated as mandatory—not described as “recommended.” As written, the listing is misleading and puts families at risk of paying for an experience they may not be allowed to join.
We’ve booked many tours without issue, which made this experience particularly disappointing.
