Ávila and Salamanca - The trip was excellent. Ignacio our tour guide was very nice and Nuria the driver very good. They made our time pleasant.

Worth the time and money - The tour went beyond expectation. Ignacio was very knowledgeable. It was going very well until the rain cut the tour short. I would do the tour again in the future.

Excellent experience. - The best. The guide very friendly, excellent historical comments, and well, time as on any tour was needed, but made the most of it. I will definitely take this tour to other destinations on my next visit to Madrid.

Fabulous Salamanca & Avila - This was an excellent excursion from start to finish. Our guide was enthusiastic and delivered the content, bilingually,without hesitation. This also alternated from place to place as well. It was definitely a highlight excursion and the beauty was the right amount of free time we had. Lunch stops and toilet breaks included. As mentioned, the guide would have done this tour on numerous occasions but her enthusiasm did not wane. The coach was extremely comfortable with a safe driver. One of the best tours I have experienced and I have done many over the years.

Avila and Salamanca Tour - A great tour and even more so with the explanations and advice of Ignacio our Guide, the super comfortable and clean transport, I recommend this tour 100%

A new excursion to enjoy - The bus was comfortable. We had a tour guide who was speaking in Spanish and English. In both places we had some time to explore ourselves the cities and take pictures.

good kick-off - salamanca was an amazing city. avila was.okay to say the least. wish we could.have stayed longer in salamanca to further explore the city and the university. tour guide was very articulate and.knowledgeable

Too fast and not enough info. - The places are beautiful but I feel that we just paid for the ride. The guide was knowledgeable but we felt that he was not giving us much info. He seemed Rushed.

Impromptu and non-solution-oriented customer support - We stayed in Madrid from 12 to 16 and booked 2 tours the first ‘Salamanca and avila’ x on day 13 and ‘Toledo and segovia’ on day 15. Unfortunately we had to open a complaint for the tour of the 13th because although we were there at the agreed time they left us on the ground: we arrived at the meeting place at 7.24 (witnessed by travel route with uber) at the exit of the metro station of las ventas. There we found another couple of tourists who had also booked with amigo Tours but x another destination (segovia and Toledo) and had been there for a while (we also exchanged a few words with them and they did not tell us absolutely about other people who had been picked up by some other guide just before). We waited for someone from the tour operator to arrive (who should come with a badge or badge or identification flag with the name of amigo Tours displayed) but this did not happen. In the meantime, other tourists arrived who were going to take part in the Segovia and Toledo tour and at one point one of them pointed to the others the way to which the buses were stopped, because she had been contacted on whatsapp... so again, in this other group, we did not see a recognizable guide of yours.... We followed them and meanwhile we started wondering why we didn't have any whatsapp contact. Arrived near the buses we finally saw employees with references to the company amigo Tours and we could ask for info and the guy who would have left with one of those buses told us that ours had left for a few minutes and now we could not do anything more.... at this point we pointed out that we had no telephone reference (on the contrary they had ours and did not contact us) and provided us with a telephone number of assistance that was neither able to assist us for that day nor to provide alternative solutions as in reality should do a customer care.... Starting from the assumption that it is absolutely not normal that no one contacted us even the day before , no whatsapp contact, no reference mail with updates (as always happens on these tours), I also point out that WE have on our own initiative tried to call them the day before several times on the number that appears on the Internet but after some rings the line dropped. We also had certain proof that x the tour of the 13th there were problems on their part in not contacting us since on November 15th we participated in the Toledo and Segovia tour always organized by them , and we received several messages and emails updating the tour . as proof of this we sent a complaint email attaching the various screens of whatsapp and email also to prove our good faith , but despite this they perched on their position accusing us of not being found at the appointed time .... Honestly I find it embarrassing that faced with evidence of missed messages from them, rehearsal screens where we tried to call them, etc. they could not find us an alternative solution ... we were fine with everything even being put on another tour and instead nothing. I can also understand the ‘arm’ in not wanting to repay but when : -the tour was not at risk of cancellation but would have left anyway even without our 3 bookings since full, so bus guide costs etc were covered -there is the good faith of our position ...(shown by the screen uber that we were there, we did not arrive late to stay overnight; - they were not available in the days before for your problems because we tried to call but the line was dropped; -also there is irrefutable proof that to our users we have not received any whatsapp message, mail etc. for the tour of 13 at least one voucher they could make it would not lose money and at least the one who should take care of customer support would do their job
