Memories for a lifetime - We thoroughly enjoyed our wine and castles tour with Don Ignacio! He shared a lot of history and context with us on the journey. The family-owned wine business on our first stop also shared about the history and their process, which was fascinating. The food at our lunch stop was delicious. The castles, windmills, and countryside scenery were picturesque and breathtaking. Don Ignacio took pictures for us so that we could be fully present and experience the moments. He was also very accommodating of our needs and comfort. I would recommend this tour to others and would do another Winebus tour given the opportunity to travel to Madrid again.

Personalized Tour of the Windmills with Wine! - This tour was one of my favorites we took during our trip to Madrid. My friend and I chose the Consuegra Windmills tour with wine tasting because I am a Don Quixote fan, but it included more than I even thought. First of all, the tour was a small group--which made the experience extra personalized. The vehicle which took us to the sites was clean and comfortable. The wine tasting was AMAZING. It is a family-owned, historic winery with delicious wine. We got to explore a castle, the windmills, and a museum. There were surprises along the way and a wealth of history. I highly recommend this tour and tour operator!

Highly Recommended! - It was a wonderful tour with just 3 of us within the group. We started off visiting a local winery, with a wine tasting session and visited 2 castles at Belmonte and Consuegra. We also had the opportunity to view the Don Quixote windmills which was really the highlight for me. This was followed by a tour in Toledo. We ended the tour having a glass of wine at a scenic spot overlooking Toledo. Although the tour was packed with activities, it felt relaxed and not rushed. As we were a small group, Ignacio kindly dropped us off at our hotels. He also provided useful tips for the rest of my stay in Spain. I would highly recommend the tour!

So Much Fun! - If you're considering a wine tour from Madrid, WineBus is fantastic! There is not actually a bus, but a vehicle that fits your small group, like a van or car. The Castles and Winery tour was great because the itinerary is unique for your day. The winery, lunch, and city experience is flexible to the best fit for the day and the group, rather than doing the same thing over and over again for everyone who takes the tour. We had an amazing experience seeing/tasting wines aged in caves and the three kings parade preparations in Segovia. You'll send some time in the car, but every leg is less than 90 minutes. I even caught a nap after lunch on the way to Segovia. You'll have a great time!

Our guide on the wine bus was a really... -
Our guide on the wine bus was a really nice fellow. The winery was lovely as was the quaint former mill restaurant where we had lunch. My wife felt ill and we had to curtail the afternoon's activities as a result. Our guide was both understanding and accommodating which was much appreciated.

Expensive but Interesting - Met by our guide in Madrid we took a leisurely drive through the countryside to visit a very nice winery. We toured the winery with plenty of explanations from both our guide and local staff. The wine sampling was an instructive session. Next was a visit to an old castle ruin. Great views over the countryside. Following that an excellent lunch with a nice selection of wine. Along the way our guide (there were 3 in our group) was informative and good company. Always felt safe as he drove the small minibus. We finished up with a tour of Segovia and in particular the castle and cathedral. It was a long day but the guide was generous with his time. It actually lasted over 12 hours. My only complaint is the pricing and I marked it down for this. Even if there are other tour members a solo pays about twice as much as others on an individual price per person basis. This is understandable if no one else was in the group but not fair if there are others. I do hope the operator reconsiders the pricing as otherwise it was a very good experience.
