Amazing - I had an amazing experience at Tinterillo de Málaga where I learned how to make paella! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the highlight of the day was definitely the cooking class. Luis, our instructor, was charming and made the experience even more enjoyable. Although he mentioned that his English wasn’t great, we had no trouble understanding him at all. His passion for cooking was evident, and he provided excellent guidance throughout the process. As a delightful bonus, we were treated to espeto de sardina, which was a fantastic addition to our meal. The attention from both the chef and the host was outstanding, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of. I highly recommend Tinterillo de Málaga for anyone looking to dive into the world of Andaluza Malaga city cuisine. It was a fun and enriching experience that I won’t forget!

Great people and great class! - Chef Terry and the owner Eduardo were both fun and informative in this class. We made a "typical" seafood paella and were then shown how to make a Malaga style paella in a smaller, cast-iron pot. Even if you don't go for the class, the El Tinterillo restaurant is great, and the staff are very welcoming!

Stay away - Absolutely terrible. We honestly don't think they were expecting us. It was if they no idea we were showing up even with our reservation. We got there a few minutes early. No one met us. We decided to ask at a restaurant next door and they seemed surprised. We learned nothing. It was more of us watching someone cook and they didn't explain anything. No one spoke English. Food was terrible. Rice was crunchy. Tapas were only a few sardines. Overall awful. I couldn't wait to leave. It was maybe an hour and 10 minutes. Angry at how much money I spent and we wound up getting food at the market. Terrible. I am sooooo very disappointed. I can't say enough how my entire family dislikes this experience. I've done many tours/cooking classes etc and this is the WORST I have ever done

We walked out! Disgusting not clean - would not eat here. - We arrived on time there was confusion but they sorted it just before our scheduled time. I went to the bathroom and between the kitchen and bathroom was about 50 dead cockroaches all over the floor! I almost puked. We left immediately.
