Highlights of Toledo in 5 hours - This tour is comfortably scheduled to fit it into a day trip from Madrid. We decided to travel to Toledo with the train, so a 9:20 departure from Madrid-Atocha station got us to Toledo with plenty of time to find our way to the main square where the tour started. Juan was a very congenial guide, switching easily between Spanish and English to accommodate his eight guests. The monuments included were interesting enough, but the highlight came on the afternoon tour of the cathedral with Olga. What a stunning building, and Olga did a great job, speaking as rapidly in English as she did in Spanish :-). With time on our own for further sightseeing and shopping, we were back in Madrid by 18:00.
