Pretty deep insight into the best painters, highlighting Las Meninas and Guernica; excellent explanations of the.gu - Do not visit the 2 museums on the same day. It's very tiring. A complete overview of the different painting schools, with their best known representatives.

Ange Melbourne - Early morning time slot to beat the crowds but sooo busy. A lot of allocated time used checking people in Once in the Prado museum a selection of pictures re history and popular artists was provided which was really interesting and relevant. A good option if just planning a short visit to museum as its collection is huge and so is the building

Great information and interesting…needed more break info - Our guide was amazing. She was incredibly knowledgeable and gave excellent history of the art with interesting stories. However, we thought we were given no time between the long tour at Prado and Reina Sofia for a bathroom break and drink. She said to take the break but only gave 5 minutes after the Prado tour for the meetup. This caused a great deal of stress because we could not find the bathrooms and were late for the meeting time. We literally ran from one museum to the next thinking we would forfeit our tour of the Reina Sophia. When we got there, the guide was telling people to take a break for the bathroom and get a snack. Better communication about the break could have eliminated this stressful situation.

Great informative tour - Tour guide lingered on representative period artwork w deep discussions. As result, we did not see 90% of the Prado collection before leaving to the Sofia tour. Overall, a great introduction, but you might want to return at a later time.

I don't reach my expectations - In Reina Sofia very well, in the Del Prado museum the guide did not have much knowledge of art The wait for the rest of the group at Reina Sofia was through the entrance near the Conservatory of Music, with inhuman heat and then having to go to the other entrance much cooler, you could stay directly there

Not so vip afterall - The visit to the Prado and the Reina Sofia are definetely worth it. The guide was very polite and attentious explainning very well the paintings and I really learned a lot about modern art at Reina Sofia. The issue was the group size, which in the end was about 25 people at the Prado museum (visit in spanish) and as the experience is sold with max 10 people I was expecting a different experience. Actually, I came to an opinion that we saw a lower number of paintings due to the difficult movement of such a big group. Maybe it were the holiday season, but at least I would rather know of the change in advance, not at a point you don’t have a choice. Maybe next time.

Online Scam - Guide left us at Prado and had to buy our own tickets to other museums. - The woman at the ticket booth at the Reina Sofia said this company is was a scam. We bought tickets and a tour for both Reina Sofia and Prado Museum for 4 hours and got a 1.5 hour tour of the Prado Museum only. They didn’t even give us a ticket for the Reina Sofia so we had to go and buy new tickets and tour the museum without a guide. We reached out to the company on that day requesting support and no one answered. So we spent €150 pp for a 1.5 hour tour of 1 museum. Not a 4 hour tour of 2 museums. The quality of the tour was generally fine, but it was a big let down. And in the moment, you can’t really rectify it because you need to reserve tour guides in advanced. Overall, I’d stay away from this company and find one that is on the formal museum website only.

Amigo tours is awful! Late and guides were terrible. We had Anna and Alex. No escort to the Reina!,, - Disorganized and the guides were late! Left us on our own to get to the other museum. Disappointed! We had to use Google to find our way. When we got there the guide walked so fast we had to run. We gave back the radio and did a self tour. Too bad because the museums were very nice. Will never book a tour with Amigo Tours. We have booked tours all over the world but never had a bad one. The guide even told us to complain.
