Prado & Reina Sofia - Alicia was a fantastic guide through the Prado and Reina Sofia. She explained the artworks in a knowledgeable and accessible style, and connected the paintings to each other and through history. Excellent.

I've managed to tick off several of my bucket list items in one day. - The tour was great. The leader was not only professional but incredibly well versed in art history but Spanish history as well. Her ability to encapsulate centuries of complicated history was impressive.

Thanks Ayla for an interesting and informative tour - Ayla gave enough information on select works without being overwhelmed. Great to see famous works, and contrasting styles of selected painters. A great day out, thanks Ayla 💜

Great informative tour - Tour guide lingered on representative period artwork w deep discussions. As result, we did not see 90% of the Prado collection before leaving to the Sofia tour. Overall, a great introduction, but you might want to return at a later time.

Not so vip afterall - The visit to the Prado and the Reina Sofia are definetely worth it. The guide was very polite and attentious explainning very well the paintings and I really learned a lot about modern art at Reina Sofia. The issue was the group size, which in the end was about 25 people at the Prado museum (visit in spanish) and as the experience is sold with max 10 people I was expecting a different experience. Actually, I came to an opinion that we saw a lower number of paintings due to the difficult movement of such a big group. Maybe it were the holiday season, but at least I would rather know of the change in advance, not at a point you don’t have a choice. Maybe next time.

Leave a lot to be desired, tickets cost less than half of what they charge you and with poor sound the audio guide better - They offer and charge you a tour with a group of 10 people and duration of approximately 4 hours... There were 25 of us in the meadow and 16 in Queen Sofia, they don't tell you that between 4 hours you count the time in the lines to enter and 20 minutes outside Queen Sofia waiting I don't know what... Lousy hearing aids.. it sounds terrible and there is nothing that can be done... Invest a little bit of gee.
