Prado Experience - Our tour guide, Andrea, provided an excellent overview of the museum. She was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. Amazing Experience at the Prado - We had the pleasure of having Enrique guide us through the Prado. He met my girlfriend and I at our hotel and walked us over to the museum while explaining the history of the city and monuments on our walk. We didn't have a ton of experience with art and Enrique was able to curate an experience that really told the story of the evolution of art over the last 1000 years. His insights were vital and without him we would not have had the same experience. A couple examples are being able to explain the significance of icons in older works or even the best places to view a painting (it is almost never having it 3 feet in front of you). Whether you're an art expert or a novice, having someone who can deliver insights and have a conversation at your pace is worth every penny.
