Guided Prado - Our Guide, Cristiana, introduced us to amazing works from the Prado. An exciting overview of art history, through important works and others less known, but all equally rich in meaning. Thank you!!

Rather useless audioguide, but no waiting for the ticket. - The instructions you get on e-mail after purchasing are confusing. They sent me to Plaza de Espana to get the ticket, then they sent me the ticket via Whatsapp. The staff at the agency in Plaza de Espana was friendly. I didn't have in ear bluetooth headphones, which is mandatory - but nobody tells you that. Luckily I have and old mobile phone and they gave me some old wire ones for free. Next stepwas to get to Prado. The ticket enables you direct access to the entrance, which is the only real value of this whole package. The audio programme is a disaster, it is only for 49 paintings, the map is useless . Audio is otherwise available for more then 200 painings so I stood in front of many, searching for some info to find that there is none available. I gave up and discovered it is easier to read the info besdide the paintings of my interest than to use the audioguide. I would never purchase this again and I don't recommend it.

Disappointed - Although purchasing the tickets was quite easy several things went wrong after that. Retrieving the tickets became very difficult. When arriving at the museum the tickets were not accepted as valid. Eventually the guard was sympathetic and allowed us in. When using the digital audio guide, the narrator’s explanations did not line up with the paintings ! This was extremely frustrating therefore we were forced to purchase the museums audio guide. Additionally, when I text through the TripAdvisor App and asked that the information be sent via text and/or to my companion’s email there was no response.

Not worth the time or money spent. - The earphones did not follow the sequence of the paintings. You would push in the number and would say "NOT AVAILABLE". Rooms were not set up in order as you thought you were in a hallway and would be labeled as a annex from another room. The staff could not get the headphones to work after entering the numbers. Also thought there would be some impressionist paintings but we're none. Also thought it would contain items as other museums but we're only paintings and sculptures. Everyone walking close to us also expressed disappointment esp in layout and headsets. Did not feel worth time and money to visit. Would not recommend.
