• Museo de la Catedral de la Almudena - We will then make our way to the Almudena Cathedral, a Catholic Church consecrated by Pope John Paul II in 1993. You will also see the Museo de la Catedral de la Almudena, a museum that is part of the church.

• Arab Wall - Next we will visit the Muslim Walls of Madrid, also known as the Arab Walls, located on the road Cuesta de la Vega. The walls are probably the oldest construction surviving in the city, and their construction is linked to the origin of Madrid.

• Calle Mayor - The Calle Mayor is a centric street in Madrid, Spain. Located in the Centro District, the Calle Mayor starts in the Puerta del Sol and ends at the cuesta de la Vega.

• Plaza de la Villa - The plaza de la Villa is an urban square in central Madrid, Spain. The square, bordering the Calle Mayor, houses some of the oldest buildings still around in the city

• La Latina - You will then walk through La Latina, a historic neighbourhood in the centre of downtown Madrid. The area occupies much of the oldest section of Madrid and is filled with small narrow streets for you to explore.

• Plaza de la Paja - A major marketplace during the 13th and 14th centuries, Plaza de la Paja is known for its crowded streets pulsing with life. However, one can find small moments of serenity in the most surprising places. The square is an ideal place to have a drink or bite to eat while admiring beautiful architecture that spans several centuries.

• Plaza de los Carros Madrid - Plaza de los Carros is a great beginning or end location if you’re touring around La Latina. La Latina has become in recent years one of the most popular locations, due to its bar and especially the active street Cava Baja. Historically it’s been a strategic location to supply and distribute products. Workers left their carts with the products and that’s the reason for the name of the square. Nowadays it’s a great meeting point, as it’s within walking distance from Plaza de la Paja, Mercado de la Cebada, terraces, bars, and restaurants.

• Plaza De Puerta Cerrada - La plaza de Puerta Cerrada (o Puerta Cerrada) se encuentra en el barrio de Palacio del casco histórico de la ciudad española de Madrid. • Plaza Mayor - The Plaza Mayor is a major public space in the heart of Madrid, the capital of Spain. It was once the center of Old Madrid. It was first built during the reign of Philip III. Only a few blocks away is another famous plaza, the Puerta del Sol.

• Real Casa de Postas - Following, you will see the Real Casa de Postas, an administrative building, neoclassical in style which was the home to the telegraph service offices of the National Police force until it was bought by Madrid’s Regional Government in 1985.

• Puerta del Sol - The Puerta del Sol is a public square in Madrid, one of the best known and busiest places in the city. This is the centre of the radial network of Spanish roads. The square also contains the famous clock whose bells mark the traditional eating of the Twelve Grapes and the beginning of a new year
