Great visit to Reina Sofia Museum - Learned a lot about Spanish modern Art in a short 1.5 hour visit. Maria is quite knowledgeable about the topic and clearly able to provide a great overview of the key exhibits from Dali, Picasso and others

Reina Sofia exhibits are difficult. This tour explains them - It is so amazing to have a guide explain the hidden meanings and context with these weird paintings. We spent time understanding the context of the beginning of modern art, the industrial revolution, new technologies, the politics, and the wars. All of this is necessary to understand the various movements of modern art, so that the works of arts make sense. I highly recommend Stefania.

Perfect Guided Tour. - María, our guide, was impressively knowledgeable. We scheduled a two hour tour to see the most important pieces in the museum as a first time visit. She managed time perfectly without feeling rushed or skipping any paintings, or all of our questions, which she happily and patiently answered. It was PERFECT.

Excellent private tour of Reina Sofia - Fernando was excellent! He was so well informed, and so thoughtful in leading us through the museum to see the best. We learned so much, and he was funny and kind and we’d love to tour another museum with him next time we are in Madrid.

A must! - We did the tour yesterday (oct,11th). I guess Queen Sofía Museum is eclipsed by the Prado, but it's such a great collection based on the first decades of the 20th Century. About the tour, it was accurate, fun and educative (we learned a lot!)

A great present - My husband likes art so I made him a present. The guide spoke for both of us, so I also enjoyed the visit, even if at the beginning I found Dali (now he's unforgettable) a strange man.

Respectful and polite - We really appreciate the respect that our guide showed for "not that young people", as I like to say. He spoke about the paintings with the enthusiasm and passion of a good teacher, we have a very nice time. Highly recommended.

There Will Never Be Enough Time for This - Our guide Beatriz was very knowledgeable but she dwelt a bit too much on her ipad photos as though we were school children. I (and also our fellow person on the tour) were interested primarily in Guernica. I did not want to hear about it piecemeal and her explanations of each section. I wanted to just see it an immerse myself in this work of art I had only seen in photos. After that happened, THEN tell me background and show me photos (I have already seen) and then we go back and see it again. The initial viewing is meant to evoke emotion and deep comprehension. The small leading up to it explanation was just annoying. I realize we all experience art in our own way. I walked away and let this powerful masterpiece explode around me. That is the way to experience it for the first time.
