- Bodegas Nabal - Our second visit is to a relatively new project, but one founded by people with a long history of winemaking.
We walk through the vineyards (weather permitting) to talk about vine growth and to show you a small structure known as a ‘guardaviña’.
We’ll then head into the winery to discuss the various processes used in their winemaking before heading to the cathedral ageing room.
Our visit concludes with a tasting of three wines and snacks.
- Bodegas Ismael Arroyo - Starting in Val Sotillo we will explain the various important points about the D.O Ribera del Duero before embarking on a tour of the winery to learn about vinification methods that will lead us into an network of underground tunnels, a fundemental part of the history of winemaking in the area.
