Day trip to wine country and Segovia with an expert guide - This tour was an excellent addition to our Madrid experience and allowed us to explore additional areas outside of the city! From start to finish, everything was well-organized, and we experienced the perfect balance of history, sights, and amazing wine. Our guide, Ignacio, was fantastic—so knowledgeable and personable, sharing fascinating insights into Segovia’s history. The winery was an excellent first stop (and included a full tasting plus snacks). Next up, Segovia's ancient aqueduct, majestic cathedral, and fairy-tale Alcázar are truly amazing. We had just enough time at each site. It was the ideal blend of culture, history, and wine. Five stars all around!

Ribera Del Duero Wine Tour - We had a wonderful time on our wine tour with Ignacio and highly recommend the experience. This was a highlight of our time in Madrid! We traveled in a small group and were able to visit 3 different wineries in Ribera del Duero. Ignacio has great relationships in the industry and is very knowledgeable about both the history in the region and wine. We learned so much, tasted great wines, and had the opportunity to visit 3 very different wineries. We also had an amazing lunch where we were able to tour the underground caves of the restaurant. We learned so much about the history and the food was delicious. Ignacio provided us great recommendations so I recommend following them if you are able to. Ignacio speaks English very well and his passion shines through. He is also very funny. You will walk away having tasted great wine, great food, and with knowledge and appreciation for Ribera Del Duero. One last note - I recommend being flexible with the time you need to be back in the city since it may allow more time for additional activities on the tour. You may not even be hungry for dinner, but if you have a dinner reservation it’s likely best to plan a late one.

Great Experience - We had a great time experiencing the Ribera Del Duero wine region! My husband and I love trying out new wines during our travels and this was a great way to experience the spanish country side as well. The history behind some of the wineries we visited was amazing being able to go into the caves made the experience even more interesting. Ignacio our tour guide was so helpful in creating the perfect day for us. We received a lot of history behind Spain and the wines. We also got to experience a delicious lunch that we would not have found otherwise!

Truly Unforgettable in the Best Way - First and foremost, you must do this tour, it’s a perfect way to spend the day to learn about Spain. When the description says unforgettable it truly is truly unforgettable. The wealth of knowledge, the kindness, and the willingness to serve you is unmatched like I’ve ever seen before. I would recommend spending the extra money for the private tour as you will truly get an experience like never before. I wouldn’t want to be in a group unless you are an introvert, but being engaging with the tour guide truly allows you to learn so much.

Ribeira del Duero with Ignacio - My husband and I recently did a Ribeira del Duero tour with Ignacio and 3 other lovely people. I had read the glowing Winebus reviews and it sounded like exactly the kind of experience we were looking for. We have been on all kinds of tours over the last several years and ALWAYS enjoy the personal, small group tours the most. Ignacio knows his wine regions and speaks of them with passion! The places he took us were wonderful and the owners were warm and welcoming. Ignacio drove so we could enjoy the wine without worry (and take naps in between stops, if necessary;) The lunch was delicious and his recommendations on dishes to order were excellent. It was just a unique and wonderful experience all around. We will definitely book another wine tour with Winebus when we return to Madrid. Thanks for taking such good care of us, Ignacio!

What a wonderful and surprising day! - We were visiting Madrid for a few days and we booked this trip last minute because we wanted to visit some wineries in the Rivera Del Duero Region. We read some great reviews about Ignacio and this trip up north and we wanted to see if our experience would be just as wonderful. Boy did he meet all of our expectations and more. We ended up being the only two so we had our own private tour! On the way up north Ignacio gave us a detailed history of Spain which we really appreciated. We then stopped at an old bodega and had a great glass of wine. We went to our first winery called Val Satillo, and was pleasantly surprised because we had tasted that wine several times in the United States and it was one of our favorites. It was wonderful to be able to see where this was made and also to see the intricate wine caves below. He then took us to lunch at a busy restaurant serving traditional food and it was very tasty. After lunch, we went down to the caves. What a surprise to see all these intricate caves that are right below restaurant. Then we went to the last winery where they knew him so well that he was the one touring us around and did the wine tasting himself. Oh, and along the way we were able to stop at a beautiful castle overlooking the region. It was a very long day but well worth it. Please don’t hesitate to book this tour with Ignacio!

Perfect guide Ignacio - Our guide Ignacio gives us the best experience in the trip. At the start of the trip, he already brought us to a tapas bar to try some local food and wine. Then he brought us to 2 very different wine yard for a very unique experience. (One traditional with caves, one modern with lots of help from machinery) We are very happy with all his arrangement. And… the lunch place is really nice! Highly encourage Everyone to join this!

Engaging and informative tour - Excellent guide with great stories and food recommendations! Ignacio even made a few extra stops to show us some great views and interesting things like an ancient wine press machine and a giant oven for roasting lamb. Very engaging and informative tour, and my whole family enjoyed it!

Vino en la Ribera - Ignacio gives you a peek into the glamourous world that is wine in the Ribera region. Within the first few minutes you can tell he is a man deeply passionate about wine and the people who produce it. A man with a deep understanding and appreciation of wine. He strives to give you a truly unforgetable experience. Words simply aren't enough to explain the journey he will take you on because he will leave you wordless at every stop. Could not recommend more.
