Spot on - Couldn’t fault the tour, probably depends on personal preference maybe a bit long winded when it came to the Royal Family over the years but it is what it is. Top guide though👍

Great tour, definitely recommend! - Carlos our guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable and fun, would definitely recommend. My only complaint was that it was too short! Could have done with an extra half an hour to soak it all up!

Amazing Palace - This Palace is one of the most impressive to visit and we went to Versailles and Buckingham for exemple, and the Madrid Royal Palace was the most impressive for us, by its size, the decorum, the chandeliers….a visit not to miss!

The Royal Palace - Magnificant ! - We meet our lovely guide Carlos at the designated meet point. He introduced himself and explained where we were going the security involved and what we could expect to see. Carlos was very friendly and professional, he made some jokes but also we were very impressed with his knowledge of Spanish art, clearly his passion. We went through the rooms all just as magnificent as you could imagine of a royal palace. One thing we would have completely missed was the music room which has The Royal Quartet of Stratavarus instruments, thank you Carlos for pointing these out. Carlos also recommended putting coats, bags etc into a big locker which was a great idea which saved us carrying items around. Great trip highly recommend Carlos.

Madrid Palace Tour - We went on this tour with our 20 something kids. Our guide was very informative and knowledgeable. The group was not to big 14 because it was an afternoon tour which was great. The ability to skip the line was fantastic as we did not lose a lot of time waiting in al line. We’ll worth doing.

Good tour - I enjoyed this tour of the royal palace. Our tour guide was good and gave us some extra information that we would not have got if we went on our own.

Just the right amount of history within an hour. - I booked this “Skip the line” guided tour through Trip advisor. Everything went as planned by the tour company, Amigo. They sent me a text with a link to the precise location of where to meet them, which was right by the statue of Isabel. Many tour companies meet here. We were told to arrive 15 minutes early for attendance. Jose was our tour guide, he spoke clearly and good English. He took attendance and we left precisely at 12 noon by foot to the Palace. Jose provided disposable audio phones that connect to his microphone, a whisper audio system, with volume control. The tour had about 14 people including us 2. So it was very manageable. We got right in the Palace within a few minutes of arriving. Jose knew a lot about each of the 26 rooms that the tour includes. You get to see beautiful furniture, porcelain dinnerware, musical instruments , rooms that the royal family used previously, and learn what the rooms are used for now. It was just a little over one hour and it ends near where it began inside the palace. So you can stay and go around on your own. Afterwards we went to the Catedral de Almudena, which was a one minute walk and free to enter (or 1€ donation, if you’d like). Overall a very easy and good way to see the Palace of Madrid.
