I loved everything. Kathy was a Guide who taught us so much. Very friendly and well educated - I loved my Guide Kathy. She taught us so much about the palace. I'm hurting myself for everything you taught us. I will recommend this one all

Royal palace tour - Susana was our tour guide. She gave us a wonderful tour through the royal palace. She explained the different rooms in the palace. I would recommend taking a guided tour with Susana.

Family with little kids - I was a bit nervous booking bc of many bad reviews. But I got my voucher 24hrs before and meet at meeting point. No problems.
However with 3 little kids we had to let go of the group and continue at our own pace ... it was too much talking. But overall no problems.

Awesome experience at the Royal Palace of Madrid! - Excellent bilingual guide from Julia Travel.
She was very detailed and was very accommodating to older tourists in the speed at which we were walking and touring the Royal Palace.

Good but could not understand the tour guide - The tour was interesting but the tour guide did not speak English very well but she was lovely. She looked like she was struggling to speak English

Tour Cancelled, Not Necessarily a Bad Thing - My reservation was cancelled (1 star). The company did it in a timely manner (5 stars), so I was able to purchase self-guided tickets on my own at a good day and time. Not having a guided tour meant missing out on good stories and tidbits, but doing the self guided tour allowed me to take as much time as I wanted to look at each room. Would definitely look into a guided tour for my next visit.

Not worth a Guide - The palace was beautiful and there is signage in each room. The guide for our English speaking tour was French, and difficult to understand. And, she kept moving her sound piece so there was not consistency of volume. I finally stopped using it; several others left the tour to do it on their own. We did not leave feeling we had a positive experience.

I do not recommend Julia Travel - Having arrived just at the time of the visit because of a mechanical problem they did not want to store the bags in the office and I missed the excursion very bad experience and I do not recommend it at all
