• Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes - Wander through the courtyard cloisters and admire the royal coats of arms at the San Juan de los Reyes Monastery. This building, commissioned by the Catholic Monarchs, was intended to be a royal mausoleum.
• Synagogue of Saint Mary the White - Walk to the Synagogue of Sta. Maria la Blanca. Originally built as a synagogue, it was converted into a church 211 years after its opening. Today, it serves as a museum showcasing Mudejar (Arabic) style. Entry is not included in the tour.
• Iglesia de Santo Tome - Marvel at El Greco’s world-renowned painting, The Burial of the Count of Orgaz, at the Church of St. Tomé. Did you know El Greco once lived in this beautiful city?
• Catedral Primada - Continue the walking tour to the Cathedral, one of Spain’s most significant Gothic cathedrals. You’ll view it from the outside before the guided tour concludes. Afterward, we’ll return to Madrid, allowing approximately one hour for lunch.
• Acueduct of Segovia - In the afternoon, we’ll head to Segovia. We’ll park near the Aqueduct, the first monument we’ll encounter in the city. With its 167 arches, it is one of the best-preserved aqueducts in the world.
• Cathedral of Segovia - Follow your guide through the streets to see the stunning Cathedral of Segovia.
• Alcazar of Segovia - Continue through the Jewish Quarter to the Alcazar of Segovia. Enjoy a guided tour of this impressive fortification, which inspired some of Walt Disney’s films.
