Highlights
  • Acueduct of Segovia - Segovia Aqueduct, a UNESCO World Heritage site, stands as one of the best-preserved elevated Roman aqueducts and the foremost symbol of Segovia, as evidenced by its presence on the city’s coat of arms.
  • Cathedral of Segovia - Segovia Cathedral, a Gothic-style Roman Catholic cathedral, is located in the main square (Plaza Mayor) of Segovia, in the community of Castile-Leon, Spain. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, the church was constructed in the mid-16th century.
  • Alcazar of Segovia - The Alcázar of Segovia, a medieval fortress, is situated in the city of Segovia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Perched on a rocky crag above the confluence of two rivers near the Guadarrama mountains, it is one of Spain’s most distinctive castle-palaces due to its ship-like shape. Originally built as a fortress, the Alcázar has served as a royal palace, state prison, Royal Artillery College, and military academy. It now functions as a museum and military archives building.
  • Mirador del Valle - The best viewpoint to see the entire city of Toledo.
  • Catedral Primada - The Primate Cathedral of Saint Mary of Toledo is a Roman Catholic church and the seat of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Toledo. This cathedral is one of the three 13th-century High Gothic cathedrals in Spain and is considered by some authorities to be the magnum opus of the Gothic style in Spain.
  • Alcazar de Toledo - The Alcázar of Toledo is a stone fortification located at the highest point of Toledo, Spain. Originally a Roman palace in the 3rd century, it was restored under Charles I (Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor) and his son Philip II of Spain in the 1540s. In 1521, Hernán Cortés was received by Charles I at the Alcázar following his conquest of the Aztecs. Most of the alcázar was rebuilt or restored between 1939 and 1957 after the Siege of the Alcázar during the Spanish Civil War.
  • Casco Historico de Toledo - Enjoy a guided walking tour through the historic center of Toledo.

What a sight to see - I am SO glad I did the tour vs going on my own. My sister had been to Spain several times and even lived here in her 20s. She gave me all the tips to go via bus and train on our own and "save money" doing it on our own and I'M SO GLAD I didn't listen and did the tour instead. Sara was so good at explaining and I learned a lot in Toledo and we had Alejandro in the Segovia part, he was so nice and helpful with wifi, water and explaining things to us. I highly recommend this tour!!!!!

Segovia, Toledo day trip - We had a great time! Alejandra and Louis were excellent guides; they did the tours in both English and Spanish; we spent the majority of our tour with Alejandra who was organized and provided plenty of education and entertainment. Overall a great experience, the day went by very fast and wish we had a little more time in Segovia because we did the castle tour and lunch felt rushed, otherwise would recommend!

Tours are quick but give you enough to understand and appreciate their historical significance. - Both Segovia and Toledo are amazing to visit and filled with history. The architecture is incredible along with the history they have endured. All this was brought to life by our very knowledgeable guide Alexandria. Thank you !

UPS and downs - Adrian and pepito were excellent, however a few things spoiled the day. Waited 20 mins at petrol station for fuel in the middle of the tour. We were also taken to a sword shop which was not advertised in the trip description. The second part of the day was quite rushed. Then at the end of the return journey we were told we were being dropped at a different spot, but we could catch a free bus into the city centre. This bus was not free and left many people somewhat stranded. Not what we paid for and not good enough.

Enjoyed both places, but... - Enjoyed both places, but doing both of these towns in one days really doesn’t give enough time to enjoy either . Recommend doing them separately or, if necessary, do only one.
