Fun and Tasty Madrid - Raul’s sense of humor and expertise. We really got to experience a vibrant part of Madrid, which we otherwise would have missed. The Spanish omelette was amazing!!

It is worth it - The guided tour was great. Our guide Raul was very competent. We were a small group of 4 people. This is also the minimum group size. So our tour was postponed by a day in consultation. This also worked out great. But now to the tour. We started with churros and chocolate in a real insider tip (we were back there the next day). Then in another bar we had pork belly, snails and mussels. We would probably never have ordered this in our lives. Then we went on to an authentic market. Cheese and sausage, with a beer. Then sangria and tortilla. Really great. I can recommend this tour to everyone. We had a lot of fun.

Great tasting! - Our guide took us to a small locals' neighborhood where the best tapas are made. He was extremely knowledgable about each item we tasted and was able to tell us how it was made, ingredients, and some stories about how the tapas tradition evolved. The drinks included on each stop really helped the tour become a great party!

Perfect evening with Tapas and Friends - Excellent evening! Lovely neighborhood and perfect host, James. The neighborhood was fantastic and I loved that it was not in central Madrid. We saw an area we would not have otherwise experienced. The food was awesome and very well selected, the wine was perfect. James explained each place with detail but not overstated. It was just the right amount of information to go along with perfect tapas! Book the experience now - it was wonderful!

Madrid magic - Just returned from two glorious weeks in Spain, including a sensational evening on this tour thanks to Lindsey, our smart, funny, friendly and highly-informative guide who made it so memorable. The food and drink are first rate and Lindsey gives you a real insider's view of the wine and tapas you are consuming. The "first" part of the tour is around three hours and well worth the money, but what takes it over the top is the "second" part of the tour, which in our case, meant accompanying Lindsey to a nearby drinking establishment to further the friendships that quickly formed in the first part of the tour. It will be one of those things we remember for a long time. Thanks Lindsey!

Great way to sample lots of the local food! - Great overview and tasting of the Madrid food scene. Bring a very healthy appetite is my only warning, bit there are worse problems to have.
