Through the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection you will learn about styles, characters, periods and ideas that cross Western painting from the thirteenth to the twentieth century. The museum is one of the cultural references of the Community of Madrid.
You will learn about landscape and genre painting, especially frequent themes of the Dutch school of the seventeenth century and the American school of the nineteenth century, the avant-garde of the twentieth century: Fauvism, expressionism, surrealism, abstraction and pop art.

A very good experience. - I have got very good explanations. It was exactly what I wanted, the essential information and the concise details. All the interesting details were pointer out without being flooded with technical and difficult to understand terms.

An amazing and worthwhile visit. We had it almost exclusively and it was a pleasure. - Laura is a Great Guide gave us lots of information and data. We were able to see the Thyssen in broad outlines all times chronologically during the time of the visit. We even got short!!

Unmisseble museum in Madrid - The museum is very good . I appreciated the guide Laura very lively and patient. My only complain is that I booked a tour in English and it was in Spanish. Fortunatly I could follow .

VERY PERSONALIZED IN OUR CASE. - WE HAD A VISIT FOR NOVEMBER 30 AND THEY CALLED THE DAY BEFORE TO CANCEL BECAUSE IT WAS ONLY THE TWO OF US, THEY WANTED TO RETURN THE MONEY BUT SINCE WE HAD FRIDAY AFTERNOON FREE I PROPOSED TO DELAY THE VISIT BY 1 DAY AND THEY TOLD ME THAT IN BEGINNING THERE WAS NO PROBLEM. IN THE END THE GROUP IT WAS 3 PEOPLE AND VERY GOOD.

Failed teams. - The electronic device for guided tour fails all the time and lastly I know it runs out of load. This damaged my experience in this beautiful museum.
