The aqueduct, which dates back to the 1st century AD, is a testament to Roman engineering ingenuity and runs through the city, serving as a symbol of Segovia.

In addition to the aqueduct, Segovia has other architectural wonders, including the Alcázar of Segovia, a medieval fortress that resembles a fairytale castle and has served various purposes throughout history, from royal palace to military fortress.
