Situated 70 km from Madrid, Toledo, a stunning city that is also a museum, has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It’s among the most ancient cities in Europe, boasting a rich array of artistic splendor and architecture from nearly every historical era (Arabian, Gothic, Mudejar, Renaissance, and Baroque period). Known as the ‘Town of Three Cultures’, it has been home to Christians, Muslims, and Jews. During the 16th century, it also served as the residence of the renowned painter El Greco.
Upon arrival in Toledo, you can plan your activities for the day. A one-hour guided tour on foot is included.
Departure from Toledo to Madrid is scheduled for 4:00 PM. The rendezvous point in Toledo for the return journey will be outside the Hacienda del Cardenal Restaurant (Pº de Recaredo 24), near Puerta de Bisagra. The return trip will include a panoramic bus tour with a stop at the Mirador del Valle for photo ops.
