Amazing tour of temple and palace in Madurai - Our tour with Selvam was excellent. We went some stunning sites including a cathedral, a beautiful palace and stunning temple. Selvam was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and provided us with interesting information on the history and meaning of these places. Recommend to anyone wanting to explore Madurai and find out more about its charming sites.

Strongly recommended! - It is by far the most worthy tour, an affordable rate with comprehensive explanation about the history, industries and lifestyle of local people in Madurai. Great walking around the old town for more than 2 hours, left with great impression of the city. Strongly recommended!

Great tour! - We had a great time with mr. Mari Muthu! His english is very good and he gave us lots of background information on the city of Madurai and about all the sights (tempel, Church, palace). We were amazed by the beauty of the places. In short: we would definitely recommend this tour!

A very informative tour that shows the richness of Madurai city! - Very happy I did this tour. I got to learn so much about Madurai from Prakash who is professional and very knowledgeable about the city and it’s history. We visited a variety of places and I was able to discover parts of temples that I wouldn’t have known about on my own. Overall, I found this tour to be very informative and interesting, and a great way to understand more about the richness of Madurai. I’d definitely recommend it to others.

A view of few sights in Madurai. - Overall the experience was less than average. I received a call from the operator in the no letting me know due to a lack of guides, he requested if we could make the tour in the evening. I told him that I couldn’t because I would be leaving. He then agreed to send a guide. While the guide spoke English and took us around, the enthusiasm seemed low. We asked to skip the temple since we had seen it the day before. The guide then met us at St. Mary’s church (worth visiting), a palace constructed 400 years back (absolutely worth a visit), the onion and banana market (ok visit), chariots used in Parvati-Shiva wedding occasion (chariots were magnificent and huge but covered and so couldn’t see most of it). Next we went to the east side of the temple and stopped there. It was an Ok tour.
