Best tour and guide of Madurai! - The guide was very knowledgeable and kind and shared a lot of very interesting facts and stories about the city and all the sites we walk by. Will highly recommend this tour for anyone!!

A very informative tour that shows the richness of Madurai city! - Very happy I did this tour. I got to learn so much about Madurai from Prakash who is professional and very knowledgeable about the city and it’s history. We visited a variety of places and I was able to discover parts of temples that I wouldn’t have known about on my own. Overall, I found this tour to be very informative and interesting, and a great way to understand more about the richness of Madurai. I’d definitely recommend it to others.

Enjoyable and informative walk around Madurai - The guide was very friendly and informative. We walked around several interesting market streets on the way from the palace to Sri Meenakshi temple that I wouldn't have known about otherwise. He is a fountain of information about the Sri Meenakshi temple, so you will learn a great deal about it with him.

Easy-going and informative tour with helpful guide - Great tour - our guide was friendly and gave us a good balance of space to look around at our leisure but also answer any questions. It was great for me, as a foreigner, to see the Meenakshi temple with a tour guide, because he was able to get me into areas I would not have been able to see otherwise. We spent one day at the temple before our tour, and we got so much more out of it the second time with the guide! The tour really enriched my experience in Madurai.

Illuminating stroll around old Madurai - We had a most enjoyable and fruitful leisurely guided stroll around the centre of old Madurai. Prakash was a kind, attentive, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. He volunteered many intriguing and interesting facts about the palace and temple as well as fielding sundry queries about local life and more. Thank you 😊 🇮🇳❣️

Professional guide - Very professional guide for a walk around town with some tourist trap shopkeeper exposure, which was tolerable. We tried local drinks and he was very patient and knowledgeable.

Worth it!! - The walk tour took us to the lesser known temples in Madhurai with rich history and legends behind it nevertheless. Our guide was knowledgeable and was able to take us thru with ease. But, our timing was not right. April is start of summer and we underestimated TN sunlight and heat… we covered a majority of the route in a AC car since I was travelling with 2 kids. Aged 10 and 12! But the tour as such is totally worth it!! The limited walk that we did was also uphill and strenuous so keep that in mind.
