Outstanding tour with a fantastic team! - Beautiful day exploring beautiful places with some beautiful people as our guide and crew. Ken was amazing - so funny and caring. He carried spare bottles of water up the 500m climb for anyone in need, and offered to carry our bags, and even carried our little boy for a stretch. He also took some fantastic pictures of our family for us - great camera skills! The whole team were incredibly kind and looked after everyone so well. I was a bit anxious about the long day in the heat and in the water with two small children (5 and 7 years), but our Great Sea crew went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and safe. Well worth the ticket price and hopefully our gratitude is reflected in the tip we left. Thanks sooo much for a fantastic day!

Great day trip with great activities - The trip was totally worth it! The transfer to and from the hotel worked without any problems. There are chilled drinks throughout and a good lunch with a beautiful view in between. The guides speak very good and understandable English. We had a lot of fun with the activities (snorkeling, hiking to the viewpoints and kayaking). We even saw whales during the boat trip! We would definitely recommend it.

Angthong National Marine Park Tour - Grand sea discovery tour to Angthong National Marine Park was incredibly amazing. First we did Snorkeling at Koh Wao, short walk to the blue lagoon view point, kayaking at Tam Rang , scrumptious lunch at Tam Rang beach and for our final activity was sight seeing, view point at the Angthong Marine park. The place was magnificent! Crew was friendly, assists us and always giving instructions for our safety and always helpful. The boat was in a very good condition, cleaned and well maintained. Grand Sea Discovery is highly recommended!

Marine park fun - Fantastic day, need to be fit to climb the 500 metres but the view is worth it! The sea was rough on way back! But the overall trip was great fun, teenage children loved it. Great Thai lunch, kayaking was fun, views amazing. Really informative staff, especially shout out to Ken. Thank you for looking after us.

Uncomfortable and overbooked - We chose a super boat tour. The tour operator explained that there would be between 35 and 45 people. Except we were tight like sardines. One hour on the way and one hour on the return, plus the noise of the engines. I loved being on a boat, but it was just not possible. Ang Thong Park is beautiful but overcrowded and the beaches are far from crystal clear. The kayak activity lasted a maximum of 15 minutes. The meal folded in as much time for a very small plate. In short, very dear for this disappointing day.

Views were beautiful but I probably would have done something else. - While the views were beautiful, we could have skipped the Emerald lake and we were disappointed with the snorkeling as well. The water wasn't as clear as we thought it would be and there wasn't a lot to see. The lunch was average and the ride back on the speedboat was almost unbearable.

Please avoid this company! - As per another review from Cat B, I am grateful to be alive after this tour. It was the most terrifying experience that we have ever had and the company have shown no support or responded. On 10th July, the tour to Anthong Nationsl Park started well and the snorkeling, kayaking and hiking were fine, albeit rushed. We were left behind after kayaking and not guided up to the viewing points as promised. Unfortunately my daughter didn't feel well with the extreme heat on climbing up to the viewing points so was slow coming down and we arrived a bit late. Upon arrival at the beach, we were told the boat had left us to take the other passengers to the next stop for lunch. If my daughter had fainted or injured herself, noone would have known as they left us stranded and had no concern about why we were late. The guide was more interested in being right about how late we were! They returned later to take us to the next stop but were made to feel very guilty instead of being asked if we were ok. That day only got worse when we left our last stop to return to Koh Samui. The sky was threatening rain but we started our journey back. As we got further out to sea, conditions soon deteriorated and we were at sea in a lightening storm with no visibility and horrendous conditions. We stopped at another island to pick up two people and thought we were going to get off until conditions improved but we didn't, we continued further into the storm. We were petrified. As the previous reviewer stated, the GPS was not working, there was no visibility and the captain did not know where to go, we were lost at sea. We were a relatively small speedboat in a huge storm and with the uneven distribution of people, the boat was near to capsising. People were terrified and we thought we were going to die. I was with my two daughters and we held on to each other and prayed for a miracle. If it hadn't been for the man with the GPS on his phone, I seriously doubt I'd be writing this review. The crew realised that the situation was very serious and we were thrown life jackets but noone checked we all had one...some didn't even fit passengers properly. Life jackets should have been issued at the beginning of the tour but were only given for snorkeling and only if you wanted one. The crew were doing what they could with the poor facilities they had to work with and miraculously managed to navigate us out of a near death situation after given the GPS by the other passenger. No working GPS or apparent training in safety procedures, left us all very vulnerable. Please do not book with this company. We should never have left the marine park knowing that a storm was brewing and we should not have continued sailing into the storm when conditions deteriorated. I contacted the company with my complaint after it happened but have not even had a reply. We were herded onto our buses upon arrival on Koh Samui as if nothing had happened. Please avoid!

Surprised to be alive now writing this review - From the start the trip was very well organised, we had a fantastic day out which Jackson and the crew made happen. Jackson, Pee and Aum explained everything in detail and gave us all the safety tips and information about the area, Jackson going above and beyond by taking photos for us when we didn't have our phones to take pics kayaking. However, when we left to return to koh Samui there was a really bad thunderstorm. We were all drenched and the journey was rough. People from the front of the boat had to come inside for their safety. That meant the boat wasn't balanced in the storm - the crew were open about this and wanted our safety and help in balancing the boat. They were great in supporting us and helping the Captain Jean find the way. Unfortunately the storm got worse so there was lightening striking and no visibility. The ride was so rough we were on the floor, people shaking, having accidents, crying, praying. We got life jackets on but the GPS wasn't working as it got wet. When they thought we had arrived at the island it wasn't there, there was no land, so we were completely lost.we were lost in a storm and when they slowed down it was captising so they had to move, but didn't know where they were going. I am really surprised we survived this boat trip, I had my daughter with me but said goodbye to my son, husband and family with God. We all thought we were going to die. Luckily a man on board has GPS system on his phone and we found land, but honestly... Jean and team are the best at controlling the boat in storm, but with zero visibility and no GPS how can the company do this? I feel blessed that we survived, but will never go on a boat tour again. I feel that there should be PTSD counselling and how can the crew go out again without this? Thank you guys for an amazing day then saving our lives. Also, thank you to the man with GPS, the people - including children, that went to the front for us in the worst of it to balance the boat, and thank you to the lovely young lady that helped my daughter and got us both life jackets ❤️
