Amazing - Totally amazing experience to see these amazing animals in very nearly their natural environment. What a great job the keepers do who have rescued these Elephants.

Ethical and Exceptional - Absolutely amazing experience. You get to get up close to the elephants but without them being forced to do anything they don’t want. The whole time is centred around whatever they want to do. You get to feed them and walk with them through their natural habitat in the jungle. The tour guide was excellent and very informative about the elephants and how to care for them. Highly recommended!

I 100% recommend this place - I 100% recommend this place. I visited Joy Elephant Santuary this morning. I loved the way they treat the elephants. You can tell they care for the animals. The elephants are not forced to do anything. You will only go to feed them and watch them in the activities that the elephants want to do. It is a very ethical place with these beautiful animals. I am happy to contribute to their care and they are located in a beautiful place 💚 . . .

10/10 experience - The whole day was amazing. First we learnt about the elephants and then fed them. Next we walked through the jungle (they went at their own pace and stopped to eat when they wanted). We then went swimming in the waterfall and got out to have tea for the elephants to then have a dip. One of the elephants didn’t want to go in and wasn’t made to. After we made a traditional Thai souvenir to take home with us. The tour guides were amazing and so fun, very helpful and funny. I will be recommending this to everyone I know that is coming to Chiang Mai. Everything about it felt ethical and letting the elephants just be elephants. Thank you so much for the best experience!

An incredible experience - Wonderful place where they take really good care of the elephants. This place is all about the elephants and their needs, not the tourists' and I truly love that. You get to feed and walk with the elephants as well as swim in a Waterfall. It was such a great day and both the drivers, guides and caretakers made sure we had a great while showing us their very happy elephants. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's interested. Their combined trips with a visit to the elephants sanctuary and either rafting/doi inthanon/etc. Are also well planned. I did the elephant sanctuary and doi inthanon combined. Jade was an incredible guide the entire day and made sure we all enjoyed ourselves.
