The site includes both a Convent and a Palace, each remarkable in their own right, yet distinct in design. Inside, it houses one of Europe’s most significant libraries, containing over 30,000 books. The basilica’s bell towers are extraordinary, featuring 98 bells across two towers, one of which is the largest in the world. Within the Royal Chapel, visitors can admire six historic organs, installed between 1792 and 1807.

• Ericeira - Next, the journey leads to Ericeira, a historic fishing village that has become Portugal’s surfing capital, thanks to its incredible year-round waves.
