Snorkeling in Costa Maya - This is an excellent adventure. David and his first mate provided a first rate snorkeling experience. His attention to us through out the snorkeling was noteworthy. The reef was exceptional.

Best snorkel adventure ever - This is an amazing, must do excursion. We were greeted and Breanna, her husband, and her sweet daughter were so nice and we loaded up and the Captain (Bree’s dad) drove the boat and we saw the most amazing fish and sea life. We were able to go on two different snorkel locations and we saw a sea turtle. On the way back we had the best guacamole and drinks. Our son played on the beach on our return and a it was the best day. This is the snorkeling adventure you want to take your family on. This business is very professional and you will not be disappointed.

David and his family... - David and his family business were awesome! They were very understanding, polite, and accommodating to our needs. Snorkeling went great because of them. They catered to you, to make sure you were comfortable and if not, you can take your time! Would 10/10 recommended to anyone looking to snorkel with a guide! Though we didn’t speak much English, we we lucky to have others who spoke Spanish on boat with us.

One of the best snorkel trips we’ve experienced - David and Bree were awesome guides for a full 3 hour snorkeling tour! They provided great instructions on how to get to their location to begin the tour, and the small group snorkeling experience was A+!! They took us to two awesome spots and we had a lot of time in the water to see the beautiful reef and marine life both locations, including a turtle! David and Bree guided us in the water and pointed out many fish and took lots of pics and video of our adventure. On the way back we had the best homemade guacamole! Their snorkeling equipment was top notch. This was such a fabulous tour, and we will book again when back in Costa Maya! Great value and eco-friendly tour.

Fishing Fun in Costa Maya - We booked a fishing trip as an excursion from our cruise to escape the tourist trap. Breanna was very responsive during the booking process and greeted us personally when we arrived by taxi. We were introduced to her husband David, father Alvero (el capitan) and brother Christian who were very polite and helpful getting us on the boat and ready to fish. The fishing was not bad at all, we caught two nice barracuda, although we had to dodge a few rain showers, but all in all a successful trip. Christian whipped up some homemade guacamole on our ride in to the shore and it was delicious! After fishing they fileted the fish and the little restaurant on the beach prepared it grilled as well as made ceviche while we went back out to snorkel the reef for a bit. I gotta say, barracuda is great eating! We wrapped up the trip with a nice lunch and caught a taxi back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. It was a great time and I definitely recommend it to cruisers, or anyone really, looking to escape the tourist trap at Costa Maya. Bre, David, Christian, and Capt Alvero delivered! Thanks y'all... see ya again soon!

Fabulous Family Owned Snorkeling Excursion in Costa Maya - This was a fabulous excursion. Description says "private tour," 8-10 guests. We were fortunate to be the only 2 guests on the day that we went. It was scheduled for 3 hours. The plan was to go to 3 different snorkeling locations. We went to the first location. One of the crew members was in the water the whole time with us, and the captain remained on the boat and watched from above. The snorkeling was fantastic. At one point the guide took me over to a reef where he noticed a stingray under the coral. He pushed some sand around the area to get the stingray to move so I could see it. Very cool. We say beautiful fish and lots of them. Unfortunately on this particular day the water had a very noticeable current so it was somewhat challenging to stay in the water for an extremely long time. I would guess that we snorkeled there for about 45 minutes. We then traveled to another location to try to see if we could find a sea turtle. Jackpot!!!!! They are fairly scarce but we saw one. It was on the ocean floor but swam to the top of the water and swam there for a little bit before heading back down. It did this a few times. It was very cool to see. We then went to a 3rd location but the water was quite choppy and the guide and the captain felt that it would be cloudy and not an enjoyable snorkeling experience. They asked if we wanted to go back to the beach. My husband had his fill (I could have snorkeled for hours! LOL) so we opted to go back to the beach. Upon arrival, David (owner) approached the boat to make sure everything was okay. We had returned after about 1 hour 45 minutes vs. 3 hours. We said that we were okay and that the water was a little rough so we were going to relax on the beach. He asked us to make sure that we were okay with that. There are 2 wooden lounges that we were told we could use if we wanted. (if you want to use the lounging beds in front of the hotel you need to rent them from the hotel.) There were also kayaks and paddle boards available if we were interested in using them. We decided to use the double seated kayak. (we would have also tried the paddle boards, but again, the current was a bit strong.) While on the boat we were offered fruit and fresh made guacamole. Water is also available on the boat. This is a very nice family owned operation. Very professional and customer service oriented. If I went back to Costa Maya I would definitely book this excursion again. Very very nice people. Might help if you know a little Spanish. Our captain and guide spoke minimal English but my husband can communicate in Spanish so we didn't have any difficulty. If you do not speak Spanish, please do not let that deter you from going on this excursion!

A fun experience would recommend! - It was a family run operation.
They were very nice and accommodating. Our guide even got off the boat to check out the visibility before we did to make sure it was a good soot. We stopped at three places. We saw a lot of fish. Seeing two sea turtles was very neat. We swam with them for quite awhile. We had snacks and and a few drinks. After the snorkeling excursion we spent time at the beach right there.

Great family tour - Loved this tour. Family run business and they were all so sweet. We had our 4 year old with us and when we got to the snorkel site he chickened out and didn’t want to go. They were so sweet about it and kind. We saw sea urchins, sea turtles,
Parrot fish, and a lot of other bright fish. Would definitely do it again!
