Best Day in Chaccoben with Juan Corona! - What an awesome day our guide Juan Corona and our driver Adrian Rodriquez were amazing. Juan was so knowledgeable and shared so much about Chacchoben. The site is amazing and a great learning experience about the Mayan culture. On the way back we stopped and ate fresh pineapple and mango!! We stopped at a local maker of hot sauces, then the lighthouse before returning to the ship. We loved that it was a small group 9 of us so it was easy to take smaller trails on the walk through the ruins! Both young men made the day extra special with stories and accommodating any and all of our needs. Everyone should have the chance to experience this type of day. Snacks and water were available throughout the trip. Highly recommend aviator and especially this tour with Chac Ex Costa Maya!!!

Highly recommend this amazing experience! - We booked this tour last minute from our cruise ship and it absolutely made our holiday! We were met by our tour guide (I believe his name was Antonio sorry if that is wrong!) & by pure luck we were the only ones on the tour. He was an incredible guide & anyone who is shown around by him in the future is extremely fortunate! He drove us out to the Mayan Ruins, and seeing how busy the location was (with large groups from our cruise) he took us an alternative route through the site. This meant we were seeing sections that were really quiet- he took some fab photos of us too. Being a local his knowledge is understandably brilliant - he had pictures in his bag of additional images that enhanced the understanding of the area. He also made the effort to introduce us to Mayan descendants that were guides for other groups. On the way back to the ship we stopped at a pineapple stand and tried the local pineapple - it was delicious. If you want an informative, beautiful & personal experience - book this tour! (On a side note - the directions from ship to pick up location were the best we had all vacation!). Great company!

Costa Maya Mayan Ruin Excursion - We had a great guide Juan Corona who thoroughly explained what we were about to see on the way there and then went to great detail while we walked around the facility. Never felt rushed and enjoyed the stops at the fruit stand to taste the local fruits. Apple Bananas were great. I’d recommend this excursion to anyone.

We had a great time on... - We had a great time on this excursion! They contacted me the day prior to confirm and see if we had any questions. They also sent a photo of the port showing where we would be picked up, which was very helpful as the port is very confusing. We had a group of 10 and it was only us. They had snacks and sodas and the AC was nice. Because we were able to walk out right away we were able to beat the cruise ship groups. On the way back we stopped for fresh pineapple, it was delicious. Great trip!

Highly Recommend! - The entire process was very smooth! Our driver, Saul, was waiting for us at the meeting point with our names on sign so it was easy to find. He led us to our group and van where we were checked in. His driving was great overall and ensured everyone was comfortable. Drinks and snacks were provided, which was a plus! Our tour guide, Ezekiel, was amazing! He was incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour incredibly fun. Seeing the Mayan Ruins was amazing through our Chak Ek tour. Thank you Saul & Ezekiel!!

The guide was really... - The guide was really interesting and is knowledgeable about Mayan culture. He answered all our questions and more! We also made two stops to try some fruit and some salsa. We had our 9 month old baby with us and he was super friendly with him and very accomodating.

Amazing full tour with local stops - Great small group of 17 ppl! Eduardo got is there lickity split and beat 4 other tour busses :) Francisco was our guide and was very kind and knowledgeable. I had lots of questions and he answered them all. We went to the back of Chacocchoben and had the site all to our selves ahead of other groups since we made it there fast and got to see spider monkeys. Great tour. We also stopped at two places (included) ; pineapples and salsa. Bring cash (usd) if you want to buy items at the salsa stop and at Chacchoben. Snacks and drinks were provided on the way back

Family Vacation 2025 - Francisco and Edwardo were great. They were waiting for us as we disembarked our cruise. Francisco kept the group together and kept us entertained. We had several young children in our group, so he made sure they could understand the subject.

Everything worked out great: Pick up at the cruise terminal, great guided tour with lots of interesting background knowledge in the Mayan ruins of Chacchoben and subsequent swim stop. Did not meet our expectations… - The Ruins are only the foundations. Our tour guide was very repetitive on his descriptions. Just not what we expected! It fell flat…
