Informative and fun - A very personal experience provided by our fantastic guide Rafael. He knows so much about the ruins and Mayan culture. The van was completely comfortable and we ended up feeling as if we had made a new friend. We highly recommend this tour with Rafael as the guide.

Hidden gems - We had a great time with Rafael. He is originally from the area and gave us plenty of information about the site and the history. We left with a better appreciation. Plus, our tour was with a smaller group rather than the large buses. Gave us a more intimate experience.

Amazing Experience at the Ruins! - Our guide was very kind and knew a lot about Chacchoben ruins. If you have a hard time finding the meetup location, it is basically a thatched roof shack, which did concern as at first but the guys at Costa Maya Experiences were so professional and honestly we received such a great tour so please don’t let that scare you off from this company! We received iced cold waters throughout the time, and the van was super comfortable and well air conditioned. It was a great value compared to the prices of similar tours that were run through our cruise line. Especially since our group was so small. All the other tours we saw there had dozens of people per guide. Our guide even helped us up and down the ruin stairs when we were struggling. If you are looking for a great Chacchoben tour, I definitely recommend this company!

Must visit place in costa maya for history - Our big family together took this tour. Tour vehicle was OK. Finding the location was little difficult, as its outside the port, needed to walk a lot to reach the pickup location. Reception was also OK. The tour part was good, was able to see Mayan ruins, guide/driver was informative and funny. It was a lot humid that day.
