Nacional Beach Club & Bungalows - We will depart in La Fortuna which will be moored at Nacional Beach Club. We will exit the break in the reef and begin to troll two to three kilometers from the coast line for big game fish. We may see bait boils and decide to spin cast plugs into them to catch Tuna, Bonito and other species that rise to the surface to feed. We will count on our allies the frigate birds to lead us to bait where we can troll for Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Spanish Mackerel and many other species.
If the guests wish to try jigging we are equipped with all the necessary gear and know the locations! We also have top of the line fly fishing gear for game fish for those that are familiar with the fly.

One of the best fishing trips I have had - Such a fun trip for my Dad and I. Nick and his crew were fantastic and we were on fish right from the start! Can't recommend these guys enough!

All the fish - We had our first ocean fishing experience. Captain Nick and his crew were the best! Loved every second. My youngest wants to visit every year.

Great Fishing Trip - We had an amazing time. Our guide, Nick, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We caught 3 large barracudas. We would definitely do it again.

Great fishing trip excursion! Nick made our day! - An amazing trip was had by everyone! The crew was fantastic and experienced. It was a wavy day but we still caught 2 barracuda which they cleaned and cooked at Nacional Beach Club and it was delicious! Nick accompanied us every step of the way from greeting on arrival, helping on the boat and entertaining us from beginning to end. He is quite a character and made our day! He also really enjoyed our fireball on board so if you have some to bring he would love it!

A must do!! - The most memorable part? Nick Luke. He was a joy and an unexpected pleasure. He made the three hour trip feel like minutes. We had four hits and landed one huge barracuda. Nick arranged for the restaurant to cook our fish and stayed with us throughout the meal entertaining us with the most engaging conversation on books, music, and cinema. This is a definite stop if you’re in Costa Maya.

Great time on the water! - We had a great time fishing in Costa Maya! Our guide, Nick, was friendly and knowledgeable, and we had great conversation while we fished. My 12-year-old son was able to reel in two barracuda! We had an absolute blast and would definitely do this again. The only concern we had was that our guide joined us for lunch and didn’t offer to pay for the two drinks he ordered, then asked us to tip him out of sight of the two other men in the boat. It seemed odd. Overall, great time!

Don't waste your time or money! - Our first impression was a small dingy of a boat. The crew was polite but not interactive with my family. It was just 3 fishing lines being dragged by the boat the bait was just skipping on top of the water. We did not catch a single fish. The ride was rough and uncomfortable.
