Then this is the tour for you! Stop at a Beach CLub and Restaurant “La Chilangaloense Mezcaleria & Cevicheria” with a beautiful view for a hand’s-on cooking class. Your guide will take you through the steps of making authentic Mexican salsas and guacamole from the freshest ingredients. You’ll have tortilla chips to taste your creations and can take the recipes home with you. Quench your thirst with complimentary margaritas, Mexican beer, or flavored waters. Afterwards, your guide will show you how to step, sway and get into the groove of Latin America’s most famous dance- the Salsa!
Follow step-by step instructions and you’ll soon be ready for the dance floor. After your class, you’ll have free time to enjoy the beach beak with open bar. When time’s up, you have the option to either return to your ship or stay at Beach Club and extend your day in this tropical paradise.

Quaint local hospitality romantic excursion. - Felt very well cared for! Made regional salsa and guacamole. Then learnt to dance salsa. Then went to beach. Guide was hospitable and took care of us very well!

A great stop on our cruise - Treated us like family, accommodated us like service pros! The water was fine for us, not sure about other reviewers experience with plumbing. The private beachfront was amazing. Jade green water, fine sand. Yes, you need to be ready to tell the nearby salespeople "no, gracias". Not sure why people would not expect tourist traps. 🙄 Tourism is literally what the town depends on. I walked out of shops where the salespeople were too obnoxious. Just move on.

Salsa in the ocean - We had such a great time making guac and salsa in the molcajete! Then we got to learn how to salsa and we danced in the ocean! Will book again for sure!

The best excursion ever - We had the best time ever doing this excursion the staff was amazing and very accommodating and made the experience so much fun !! The ingredients we cooked with was very fresh and we made some delicious guacamole and salsa! The margaritas were delicious along with the tequila shots we took. Of course we had to buy the bottle!! 10/10 would recommend!!

Definitely recommend salsa, beach and dancing! - Excellent experience with Jackie and Tatiana! Easy to get here from the port and drinks ready when we arrived at the beach. Friendly and super attentive all day long. Best salsa and guacamole ever and so fun to learn to make it ourselves. Also had a great massage right next door on the beach - so relaxing! 2 seniors, 2 parents and 2 kiddos (14 and 10) — they made everyone feel welcome and kept use comfortable all day. Never felt pressured or rushed. Enjoyed the beach for the day after the cooking class! Beautiful water, padded lounge chairs, shade and drinks. Even had a salsa dancing lesson to end the day! Would highly recommend this excursion for anyone traveling to costa maya! They made sure we got back to the cruise ship on time and coordinated a cab ride so it was seamless. Will definitely be back!!! Thanks Jackie and team! 💗

Fun day at port - My daughter and I had an awesome time! Not only was the salsa and guac making fun, but the drinks and access to the beach for the day made it perfect. We had a good time learning to salsa on the beach, and enjoyed walking around the area, too. I highly recommend this experience.

A unique and fun experience - This was a hugely fun and low key afternoon. The fresh food salsa and history of the food in Mexico was enjoyable. The host was extremely kind and we really enjoyed dancing on the beach. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was that it was quite a walk from the port to the meet up point. But they were waiting with water when we arrived. They could have recommended taking a cab or being a bit more explicit about the side of the street to be on because there is not a lot of signage.
