Perfect Beach Day! - We had the most amazing visit to Pez Quadro today! I spent some time researching the options for a day resort with my two teenage daughters. I’m so happy that we ended up here. Very easy to get to by taxi $4 per person maybe 10 minutes. We made our reservation in advance $45 per teenager and $55 for an adult without alcohol. This includes one meal and all you can drink nonalcoholic beverages. There is a package, including alcohol for just a little bit more. When we got out of our taxi, a man with a Costa Maya shirt who looked very official began to escort us around the side of the building to the beach. Fortunately, the lovely lady in black from reception at the hotel 40 Canones (where Pez Quadro is) noticed and saved us. I guess they tried to bait and switch and lure in customers who have already paid a deposit. So definitely go into the lobby of the hotel when you arrive from your taxi.
In any case, shout out to Luis for amazing service today! My daughters loved the smoothies mango and pineapple was a favorite. For lunch we tried the chicken and steak fajitas, which were delicious as well as the tacos and the cheese quesadilla. Everyone was happy with the meal. The ambience is just delightful. Beautiful white Stucco building with such a cool vibe. Great music. Chill and relaxing. Very comfortable lounge chairs. Not too crowded. I will include some pictures. Everyone passing by stopped at the swings on the beach as they are so picturesque.
We also had massages and the ladies were amazing.
10/10 and perfect day on the beach and off the cruise ship. Thank you to Pez Quadro!

Little piece of gem in Pez Quadro - What a pleasant piece of gem! We thoroughly enjoyed the food, service from Ernesto and colleague and massages! Oh, there was also the sweetest teen who made the flower and caterpillar out of leaves; which were phenomenal!!

We loved it! - Found Pez Quadro on a travel blog and am so happy I did! The only complaint I have is we weren’t there long enough. Everyone was so nice and provided great customer service. The food was EXCELLENT! The beach was beautiful and relaxing. The port was so crowded, you could barely walk, then we got to Pez Quadro, and it was so peaceful and beautiful. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing day at the beach.

Amazing Beach Club - Had the opportunity to visit during our cruise stop with Royal Carribean. It was one of our highlights of the trip. Location was peaceful and service was top notch. The sun beds were fantastic and clean. The food was absolutely delicious and well worth the price. I'm still dreaming about the ceviche! My sister and I both got massages and they were so amazing. The kids had a great time. Highly recommend!

Lots of activities and free drinks! - We went on a family cruise on Royal Caribbean to Puerto Costa Maya in March 2024. We had the best time at the beach and it was one of our favorite excursions of the whole vacation. Here is our summary:
- You take a 15-20 minute bus ride to the beach/shopping area. The bus was air conditioned, seats were roomy, and driver was very nice
- Be aware that, as expected, there are a lot of sellers near the beach/shopping areas trying to sell you stuff. Most of them are nice and you can say "no thank you" if you aren't interested. Regardless, this can be overwhelming if you haven't experienced it before
- The beach area itself was clean and beautiful. The lounge chairs were comfortable and had padded seating and were available both in the sun and in the shade
- Through our package, we had access to the lounge chairs, free drinks, a pool with a floating bar, and kayaking
- Our bartender, Benjamin, was awesome and continually checked on us to see if we needed anything
- The free alcoholic drinks on the menu included piña coladas, daiquiris, electric lemonades, mojitos, mai tais, and much more
- The kayak was high quality and easy to maneuver. It even had a compartment on both seats where you could store a phone or camera so it doesn't get wet. Each pair of people had 20 minutes on the kayak to allow time for all guests
- The pool with the floating bar was very fun and tropical and there were lounge chairs available there as well
- Lunch and snacks were available for purchase

Great service by Luis! Food good also! Drinks a little weak - It was pricey though unless you are a big drinker. But food was ample and there were enough choices. Nice covered area to eat or they will bring to you. Water great too !

Best lunch of our trip, authentic beach and town setting - Our private driver brought us here for a beach lunch. We loved that the restaurant and beach were in the authentic part of town… crowded with tourists and locals, side-by-side rustic Mexican structures, and small connected beach areas - trees shading the dining tables in the sand, fronted by lots of lounge chairs and calm turquoise water swimming areas. It’s not the place to be if you want peaceful relaxation. But it was fun for energetic sights and sounds… local dogs, guitar players, people, and even a tank rolled by with armed soldiers on top. Hosts were attentive despite it being busy. The food was not cheap, but it was great! The shrimp ceviche was hands down the best meal we had during our weeklong vacation. Good selection of cold beer. Vendors walking between tables and loungers were varying degrees of aggressive, but after turning down 8-10 of them, we were left alone. Boat tours, kayaks, paddle boards could be rented. We spent about 2 hours here- it added a bit of local insight and fun to our stop in Costa Maya.
